Myth tomb cap should be per job

Myth cap should stay per character, can always clad alts in darklight till you've got AF+1 for your main.

Expecting to be able to kit out every single class with the best equipment in just a few months is sad.

That's the thing that people need to remember here. It's not just "gearing up" your alt classes. Level 90 gear is literally the best gear in the game. The amount of pieces you're able to get should be extremely limited, regardless of how many classes you happen to play.

I'd personally be happier if you could only get level 90 gear from Coil, and limit Myth tomes to a new tier of level 80 gear, but that ship has already sailed.

Wrong game for you my friend .......... F2P games are like Fighters , you play them in short spurts to kill your buddies and other people , but eventually they die out .
MMORPG is longterm games , meaning 3-5-10-so on years .

Tell me one title that has had as many players as ff11 and lasted as long that is a FPS ?
Not a following .............. I like many FPSs , but none has had the player base of any Good MMORPGs and for a GOOD REASON.
MMORPGs are designed to last long , they give you goals that take time and effort .

FPSs are about killing other players , not about Role Playing a long Term life in them.........

Final Fantasy XIV is a MMORPG ( massively multiplayer online role-playing game )

Edit: My WHM is a Relic Holder , but only has DL ...........My BLM is a Relic Holder that has DL and 2 pieces of Myth Gear ...........You do not need more than DL for Coil and a Relic , so a Myth Cap increase or sectioned off Job wise does not make a difference other then making it quicker for you to get Myth Gear which is on par with Coil Drops .......................

Having fun with a group of people and mastering combat mechanics is a goal.

You have a really narrow definition of goals if all goals means to you is paying subscription for months for items that are arbitrarily withheld from you by some slowed down reward system.

They are rewarding you for time spent grinding, not for some feat of skill.

The people who are so against this would bleed out of their eyes were they to see how you had to obtain Maats cap. Back when there was no quick leveling in XI.

I dunno why this is still continuing since it was already answered. They have no plans to drop it at the moment.

There actually is a reason for this, and maybe you just arent looking at it close enough to figure out why they do not want to give us seperate myth caps per job. Regardless of what job has a cap, you could essentially gear any job you wanted with a different jobs myth tomes, because it doesnt prevent you from buying any piece of gear you want with those myth tomes. For example, right now i gain tomes with my tank for insta ques, and use the tomes to buy my MNKs gear. That is the abuse that will happen. People can essentially gear up something 9x faster than the normal rate

SE please realize this is a huge issue and you need to fix it before it's too late, change your stance on this issue and fix the problem. We as paying customers do not want to level an alt for every job we want to PLAY in coil(not gear, stop talking about gear,we are simply unable to even PLAY more than 1 job per turn in coil right now), and when coil takes my group 45 mins to clear, then I'm done for the remaining 6 days + X amount hours left in one day, you've got a HUGE problem.

Coil does not need Myth Gear to do it , it is fully possible to do it with Full DL and a Relic Weapon .....
Its not a issue and likely the players complaining and talking about the End of The world will be saying the same thing later on when there is nothing left to gain......

Myth Gear is almost the same Gear as Coil besides look and 1-2 different stat changes.
Laziness .

Any game that makes you WORK (Repeat/SPAM) Instances for gear or points for has this same very threads going Probably by the very same people . You want short Cuts , then want it now , then OMG THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN THIS GAME !

Myth Gear is on Par with the Endgame's best Drops that literally rain so much that in most spots that endgame players hang you can see them everywhere now .
DL is good enough for Coil , if people are asking for more , than start your own group .

Don't presume to speak for me as a paying customer. I like it the way it is currently, and the way it will stay until such time SE deems it is time to change. I have plenty to do in game still besides spamming WP/AK.
