It would seem so but I cannot think of any way for monks to beat archer.I'm pretty sure One Ilm Punch was meant for PvP.
Also it would be useful if Monks had MONK HP like you know, in any other FF game of the forever.

Yeah One Ilm Punch should be replaced with a ranged attack for PvE IMO, and added to the Monk's PvP skill set.
Would also like to see some adjustments to Greased Lightning to make it a bit more fair when you have mechanics keeping you from going at the enemy. As someone suggested, making them drop off one stack at a time and keep the same timer would be nice. Someone in the Monk thread on the DPS Roles section also suggested an ability that temporarily stops GL from counting down as long as you don't attack an enemy, which would work as well.
It would also be nice if there was an actual good reason to use True Strike.
Too many buffs. Only thing they need is a GL timer increase. If you want those buffs, you'll have to nerf them as well.
this times 10 billion... Dragoons get to distinguish themselves from others with better DEF... why in gods name are we SO gimped in this game? I dont get it
Would like haymaker to be taken off the gcd and given a 30 sec recast timer with a small damage potency and instead of slow inflict a silence (makes more sense seeing as how a haymaker would silence you up real quick =P)

I agree with most of what u suggested except for howlingfist / perfect balance. i think its balanced.
OIP could be used as a enmity dump(there are few fights where i wish i could dump my hate.. rather than wait out GL to fall off then start dpsing again). Other than that i think mnk is really strong atm.
I need to think more about Howling fist, but about Perfect balanse... you are right. Lets remember the game----------- In dungeons we run from one mob-pack to another and so on till the boss. If PerBal cd will be 60sec- it is to long to use it on every mob-pack, so PerBal is still the same if cd is 180sec. So, the change of PerBAl must be another... Maybe it would be better, if CD of PerBal still will be 180sec, but if used it will give 3 stack of GS? So the whole picture of using PerBal will be: monk uses PerBal only on bosses, but using will immediately give 3 stacks of GS.
