Anyone Sad about the games Decline

this topic is the prime example of why it's a bad idea on SE's part to restrict full forum access to people who have a lvl 50

if this game was rocking even half as much as you imply your post wouldn't be supported by so few other posters, during the beta and early release you'd have at least 20-30 same minded poster parroting your words. there definitely is a decline My server has definitely reduced numbers (not just a few but noticeable amounts less players NOT MORE!)
some are expected to leave post free period like always in any game but the bleeding doesn't stop there and the lack of support your position is getting is another visible sign things are not all ice cream and sprinkles.

If only this game was released with 2.1 patch....there wouldn't be so many complaints about things to do at level cap; they should have waited until 2.1 and released it then imo. Game feels...incomplete. I think a few of us are a bit tired of MMO devs doing the whole ploy of hoping people will continue to sub on a 'promise' of new content...as long as you keep paying. SWToR did the same thing and look how that turned out.

I like this game, I really do. I see the potential!

But I don't like the limited end game as of right now. Hopefulley 2.1 saves the day. If not, there is new MMOs on the way like TESO and EQ Next which look to actually break from the 'lets clone wow!' mentality that has plagued this genre for almost a decade.

Until then, I do my mythos cap...maybe run the DF for some gil then head on over to GW2 for the rest of the week so it's all good, right?

I see the problem is even if they had started the game with all that is in 2.1 in about two three weeks from now there would be people complaing about why its taking so long for the new version of what 2.1 would be. Probably with a post similar to yours about how they should have waited till that 2.1 content was added.

except that has not been true since Alpha. the percentage of the game "has no faults" has always been the great majority of the forum posters.
any thread which in any way criticizes the game is immediately swamped with "you don't know XXXX GTFO!" or "WTF are you talking about? the game has ...." ....etc....
this does not take a break when the game is live yet the amount of people who come to the games defense has dropped off considerably since the free period has ended.

The issue won't be these guys, it will be having enough new players coming through to run dungeons with each other or getting higher geared players to drop down a couple of notches to help them.

I'm tempted to write down all the people bashing the game for lack of content and all the people defending the "lack of content issue." and see which group has more. I will be using it by users not number of posts. I have a feeling more people have disagreed with you than agreeing.

Or people just get tired of the same "this game is stupid and my opinion is the only valid one, if you disagree then your just a white knight/fanboy" threads and dont bother responding as much anymore. Reduction in forum defense posts does not really reflect game population....hell forum period doesnt, as a major portion of population rarely touch forums.
