Actually you can be done for the week in a few hours. Once you're capped on tomes and/or done with coil you have no more reason to log on until everything resets.Maybe you see a decline, but the way I see it is more like this
A lot of hardcore douche who thinks they are better then 99% of the population out there rage quit because they have nothing better to do in their life other then playing 20 hours a day and has nothing else to do
I think in terms of end game content people are losing some hope. Turn 5 has been bugged for a long time, and it's going to have to go down again for a third maintenance.
Biggest issue here is that the hardest dungeon in the game takes less than an hr and a half to do weekly, and we're supposed to do this for another 6 months. So for those of us who actively participate in end game and have been playing 1.0, there's nothing really to do. I've been completing achievements and it's becoming harder with each passing day to want to log on. Doesn't mean i'm going to quit, but I can see why some people are.
And I am dieing.
A little bit, each day. Slowly, and inevitably.
Forget the fact that I'm living, growing new cells by the minute, happy and having the time of my life. None of that matters, cause I'm going to die eventually.
As far as the subscription numbers? The only source that matters on those is SE itself and all reports note a large gain in subscriptions, not a loss. What you are experiencing is likely the redistribution of players across servers due to the five days free transfers that went on, so some people are jumping to new servers to get away form over-crowding. You are on the most populated NA server, there was bound to be a venting from that server by groups and strays.
As far as activities in zones, pay attention to the bottle neck areas for FATES, such as Quarrymill, Costa De Sol, Dragonhead, The Processing plant and Reverant's Toll. These areas are flooded during peak hours and still are active during off time as well. Starting zones have thinned out due to the ease of leveling and being past the initial heavy congestion wave of new players.
Exactly - This MMOs is getting top heavy now which means the early game (ontop of DF server split) leads to loooooong queue time, so the game isn't necessarily crowded in the regard people seem to be stating, it's more that people are all stuck at the top and early - mid game isn't exactly that packed, since even trying to help out it takes me quite a while to queue as healer and tank for the earlier dungeons, and especially longer for CM/Praetorium as the population that's currently playing still seems to be more of the same people who are already past it.
Just saying dungeons are a hard way to measure how many people are playing now. Since not everyone needs to or wants to do dungeons in the early to mid levels after going through the first time. Not to mention the crafting/gathering population. End game people have started to prefer making their own parties and not using DF in order to succeed.Exactly - This MMOs is getting top heavy now which means the early game (ontop of DF server split) leads to loooooong queue time, so the game isn't necessarily crowded in the regard people seem to be stating, it's more that people are all stuck at the top and early - mid game isn't exactly that packed, since even trying to help out it takes me quite a while to queue as healer and tank for the earlier dungeons, and especially longer for CM/Praetorium as the population that's currently playing still seems to be more of the same people who are already past it.
there is alot of STUFF to do ... however there is hardly any end game progression content. Which i hope gets added to very soon
for all those people that use the biggest 2 excuses
1. The game is only 2 months old ! ... but yet has less end game progression content then any other MMO has had at launch as of late
2. Theres tons of content dont be lazy and level an alt ... Frankly im stupified by this one because leveling alt classes or craft classes IS NOT end game progression content anyone that thinks it is an idiot plain and simple
The fact is this game currently has 2 - 3 hours of end game progression content per week which is just sad
How come everytime I see one of these threads, the person that started the post will stop posting after starting the thread? It's like they have something to say but back out when enough people with logic and reason start flooding the thread. 5 pages later, still hasn't backed up his/her arguement.
Wow a Troll calling me a Troll I find it funny how people confuse peoples opinions with trolling. If you don't like my opinion on the game don't reply.
Also DukeBurden I stated my thoughts and opinion take it or leave it I don't have to back anything up the truth is the truth just accept it
