What is this mythical time of which you speak when DPSes had instant queue times? So how about them 40-80minute+ DF timers for anyone not a Healer or Tank? When the game actually was crowded you got near instant queue times regardless of what role you played, since a lot of people were actually doing certain dungeons. Even Ifrit takes awhile as Healer/Tank on some clusters.
The opening weeks had tonnes of people doing their main story quests which forced them to do dungeons in order to progress. Now that people are working on their 2nd or 3rd 50s they don't need to do so, especially with how FATEs are at the moment. I'm currently in Quarrymill now and I see enough people moving from FATE to FATE to fill at least over a dozen dungeon queues with tanks and healers if they actually decided to go into them. And this is just from this particular FATE leveling zone, so consider how many will be in the 30-35, 35-40 zones doing the same thing. So how about them 40-80minute+ DF timers for anyone not a Healer or Tank? As to Ifrit, people at this point probably don't need him as much anymore. The only ones who do are new 50s or people doing another relic quest.

O_O what? During the oh so crowded Open Beta I had instant queues as conjuerer, but my archer had 20 minute queues. During Early access my healer had instant queues still, my arcanist had 50 minute queues. Right now my Pugalist sometimes gets under 30 minute queues, but not often.
I have only ever had instant queues as a healer, and even that is entirely dependent on server and dungeon and time of day.
You have long queue times because there aren't enough tanks, and never have been....

Every game has a subset of players that conquer everything as fast as possible; these peple get bored in just about every MMO, then the next content patch comes out, they conquer that and get bored again, etc. There's little you can do to avoid this. PvP after the first patch will help alliviate it, but it's a problem every MMO faces. I know a few people who are waiting for the patch and have gone offline until then.
The game is dying?! I guess bots became self-aware and starting playing the content instead of gold-selling! Seriously though, I've been going back and forth between level 30 zones all the way to starting areas (can't decide what class to level on any given day lol) and have yet to see a zone with small amounts of players.
