I find few places in ARR that are nice and relaxing. Even the nooks and crannies of Uldah seem to be gone (for quiet crafting). I'm hoping that individual housing will help with this.

My post had serious intent. At least until PvP comes out, I find it a great place to just hang out and craft. There's a summoning bell there, so you can sell the stuff you make without leaving the area. It's as good as the inn room + you can craft + use delivery moogle.

Seriously. It's the best place to go if you want to craft in peace and quiet. Even after pvp comes out I don't expect much change, because you access pvp via the duty finder- you only need to go to the pier to unlock it and to claim rewards.

(but as far as pvp goes,there's no use in "voting" for or against pvp. It will be there and is specifically geared towards teh portion of the playerbase they believe will be interested in it. If you don't like it, by all means don't participate, but you shouldn't be raining on the parade of people who want to do it)

Oh yeah, this is a great place as well The cost to teleport from the Den to Limsa isn't that bad either. (to get to the market board to check current prices) and it's even a Sanctuary

Since there is apparently a summoning bell there, you DO realise you don't need to go to a market board to check prices, right? You can do it from your retainer while selling the item. ^.^

I was from Hyperion too, but I decided to start fresh with a new character on a new server.

Never cared for Uldah myself. There are lots of nooks and crannies in gridania and a few in Limsa. Anyways, why on earth would you want to craft in a main city? It's not even a sanctuary to give you that extra % exp to every item crafted.

You are much better off crafting in a place like Aleport that is just a 100 coin boat ride from the main city Limsa Lominsa

I suppose everyone just likes to craft where they are comfortable though heheh
