I wonder if its possible to survive 1 spike if you have a tank 3 bar CD.

none of you seem to be understanding which is why im thinking you guys are terrible. An aoe haste/stat buff is not a dps lb it is a SUPPORT lb. Unlike heal and dmg it does neither but buff yours making it SUPPORT

Wait so you're telling me RS isn't a DPS cooldown because it doesn't do any damage...?

I was using a, uh, analogy...

If "An aoe haste/stat buff is not a dps lb it is a SUPPORT lb. Unlike heal and dmg it does neither but buff yours making it SUPPORT"

Then wouldn't RS be a support cooldown by the same logic, as opposed to a dps cooldown?

I think a the best question isn't why BRD's have a useless LB. The real question is why tanks, healers and BRDs all have useless LBs (well occasionally you use healer LB3 but you shouldn't have gotten to that point anyway to need to raise everyone).

Seriously, anyone ever seen a tank LB? I only have once, and that was just for fun.

I believe they meant it buffs the whole raid, which would make it support. It would only be a dps LB if it only affected the bard.
I think it's a decent idea in theory, but then I see the bard LB being used 9 times out of 10.

Your the one who doesn't seem to understand. healing/ressing is a form of support. Plus how is a DPS increase to a party not a DPS limit. Is a DoT ability not a DPS skill? It serves the same purpose, to deal more damage. It would just be over 10 seconds rather then flat burst. And since DoT effects should always be higher then burst skills (over time) it would create massive imbalance as the bard limit would always be the best, as there's currently 0 content in this game where you need LB burst. I'll keep my heal limit. its situational to say the least, but still useful, has great flavor, and overall just makes bards unique.

When is it ever useful though? I wish LB's were more usable and diverse. They could potentially be the coolest unique abilities, instead they are these sweeping bland affects. In a perfect world a Bard LB would be a song, a summoner...well a summon or part of their one that is already out and so on.

Brd having a healing lb makes it not unique at all. And from what I remember, bards can't even raise people so why should their lb be able to do it? And they queue up as a dps class. Sounds like they didn't know what the hell to do with bard so they just gave it the same thing as healers. It would be better to actually have a support buff/ debuff LB, that would actually make them unique because no one else can do that. Unique is having something all your own not being the only one to take from something else
