Yes please, brd LB is lame. If your run is going that bad that only the brd is up to mass rez you already failed.

Bard was only really given the heal LB because in early beta bard was an archer+conjurer. When they changed us to pugilist cross class they forgot to change the LB.

Though i too wish they'd make the lv1/2 LBs more useful, that full rez+heal has saved my ass many a days During Hm fights.

Well, I kind of like the Bard being capable of raising everyone if the healers suddenly died, but I understand some Bards want more.

If they gave Bard their own Limit Break, people may complain that they are getting special treatment. This, I believe, can be blamed on design. Are Bards support, or damage dealers? Both? In the future, perhaps the support role may be added but for now it's not the case. In the end, if Bards have a Limit Break that essentially buffs party dps, only one thing can happen: Will it be superior or inferior to the Damage Dealer LB overall? One or the other will be obsolete in most cases, I think, which will cause problems down the line--if not instantly.

Eh, the only thing I could see them giving us an alternate art DPS LB with the same damage as whichever one they chose to copy. Anything else would be class exclusive and could cause balancing issues.

For Archer, it's a strange thing to have a healing limit break, but for Bards it actually make sense. Their support is there to buff in times of need, not when you want it on demand. An instant raise has saved many parties I have been in that were able to get the job finished, and that's what I picture Bards as being there for. It even says as much in the official description.

I would expect that a ranged based LB will be added in when more ranged physical classes come into play, as the idea of a raise won't fit all kinds of ranged roles. Whilst Archer/Bard is the only one of it's kind in the game, this has obviously been a balance/design decision rather than just lumped on because.

Used LB many times to res people, Healers don't have the time to do it because of the long animation lock. QQ more

Why would you ever have a bard (dps) LB anyway?

Their weapon damage is 10% lower than that of a MNK/DRG.

Perhaps stacking CD's would work, but those two have the 2 biggest damage increasing stackers already anyway (RS and BfB).

So...even if you gave BRD a dps cooldown...you would never use it unless you only had bards.

I can just imagine the QQ from DPS classes if they change Bard to DPS LB. :P
