I've been experiencing lag for a month, and I posted in that extremely long thread about throtting. I've called time Warner Cable and there no problems on their end. I called Netgear because we use a router, and no issues on that. This lag is coming from Square enix's servers, and it's been getting progressively worse with each maintenance, there has been no announcement to explain why we're experiencing this problem, any estimate date to have it fix, etc. there has been no reply, and honestly, as much as I love this game, I'm not too happy of spending money on a product I can't quite use.
I can't do any primal hardmode fight because my lag makes me get hit by everything even though it looks in my screen I got out on time and I'm 20 feet away from the damage. I haven't been able to join any groups for Bahamut's coil because of my lag, and there's just so many times I can run Amdapor Keep before getting fed up with the monotony. I just want to be able to enjoy the game, not get angry and frustrated every time I do anything, because even crafting lags a lot. that s why i'm not paying for the following month, there's no point in wasting money for something i can't use, and also for the abysmal costumer service.
A friend of mine was hacked before he could get a token in his cellphone, and it's been 4 weeks now since then and he keeps being ignored as his live chat never goes through, only gets generic email replies, and he wasted all his minutes being on hold on the phone just to never get to talk with a real person. I've sent emails too and tried the live chat to ask about this lag issue, and they don't go through either. At this point it just feels like I'm giving my money to somebody who doesn't give a s*** about me at all.
