Who knows? With the weekly resets, that could have become a mechanic. Can something be done differently in Turn 3?
Now I haven't set foot in Turn 5 myself, but I figure you're at a point where there is no harm in putting out ideas on the slight off-chance they haven't been tried.
There are three other dragons when the fight starts. Have people tried not killing them to see if they interact with any of the later mechanics, such as Twister?
I'm guessing SOMEONE has, but who knows...
100% of FC just race to the bottom of Turn 3 after the first week of doing it and finding no loot. I would find it quite comical if the solution was there.
Guys just... Random thought, i've no place here as i'm not even on turn 1 (friend of mine's on turn 5, tho)
But couldn't the Twister be... A point of the fight you're not supposed to reach at all? Like the explosions on turn 4? A kind of enrage timer?
Ya sure if entire groups with an average ilvl of 80+ are having an enrage issue where the twisters are the enrage then they all just suck that much. No it is an intended mechanic of the encounter and begin as soon as the phase starts because they are the majority of the phase. Please unless you have seen the fight do not try and put in input that has been considered many times already and is not the case.
Ugh, I feel stupid even suggesting this.
Have y'all tried stacking in Neurolink for Twisters?

Maybe it's an instant kill if you're ABOVE a certain % of your max HP? (serious)
Patch added a new mechanic to Twintania. She now randomly 90k's party members.
