From Epic story to Boring Grind Why I quit FFXIV.

So I have been taking my time to level up. I am close to getting to level 50 on my SMN and WVR. When I hit 50, will I be doing the same thing he is doing? Since I do things at my own pace, it's going to take me longer then 4 months to get a set of gear? The fact that this number is even here is already disheartening. Unlocking another area of the game and it's going to take me over 4 months to complete it.

End game feels horrible already and I'm not even there yet.

Why dont these people realize that in 4 months there will be new sets of gear to obtain?

You wont need 4 months to obtain gear on every character because there is an update every three months.

Yes you will experience this too. Don't believe the people telling you that there's more to this game by leveling other jobs and blah blah. This game gives you one set path and destination.

True can remember grinding for awhile on IV cause i was under leveled and the boss that was killing me was everyone's favorite Demon Wall!!. OP not going to try and convince you to stay or say you're wrong if you're not having fun go if you are stay simples.

Or maybe he will have a brain and realize theres a dungeon to get i90 gear from.

There are a LOT of people too bad to beat Titan, who come here and complain about having to run AK.

Get to coil. I saw a guy today with a Relic +1 spear, a Myth Helmet, and 7 pieces of Coil i90 gear. Did it take him 4 months? Go figure.

demon wall is truely one of a kind. imagine my surprise when I saw that you could fight it TWICE in XII. grrr. I was like 'oh hell no' hahahaha (and did it anyway...)
