    For me those complaints are pretty minor and don't bother me that much , I just turn the spammer channels off , But there are 2 things in this game that really annoy me , the lack of story quests to the point that you have to go off and grind fates and such so you can get to the next level so you can continue the story and the side quests are as boring as hell , go pick 5 apples , take this tea to 3 guards , go get my grandfathers axe and theres not even enough of them to get to the next level. My other complaint is having group dungeons within the story, I gave up on my pugilist after sitting outside satasha for about 1and a half to 2 hours waiting for the duty finder to get me a game. now I enjoy a group dungeon now and then but they should be for things outside the main story, for end game and for grinding good gear and stuff, when they are stuck in the middle of the story they just bring the game to a halt.

    Yeah, the group dungeons are a mess indeed. If I join as a healer I usually take from 1sec to 5min to start. As a DPS it goes forever. The solution would be simple, though. SE would just need to add a 3rd DPS in the group. Yes, don't worry, it would make things faster not slower. because each healer/tank would "serve" 3 DPS instead of 2. Obviously the the difficulty should be made harder and they should give up more loot accordingly.

    1- Well, SE did kind of underestimate just how widespread RMT were going to be, hence the 'report' function is hidden away because it wasn't thought it would be needed to be in a more accessible location. But as has been mentioned, a 'one touch report' function is being added with the upcoming patch.
    2- It's not that difficult to switch inventory pages when sorting items. And pages are not divided by type, other than crystals and key items being on their own individual pages, so I don't know what you're complaining about here. I find it easy enough to keep items sorted into pages (one is for medicine and food, another for random items, another for armour overflow, and the fourth for weapon overflow).
    3- As everyone else has said, I have no idea what you're asking for here. 'Set up and destroy'? This is a MMO - if you're wanting a powerful 'one-man-army' skill that guarantees you victory you will not find it here. I have no idea what FF game you've played but most FF games do not have what you are asking (if my example is what I think it is you want).
    4- You can easily do what you're wanting by setting up a gear set to switch your equipment automatically at the touch of a button. It's accessed through the Character tab on your menu bar.
    5- This is purely subjective - personally I thought there was a ton of character customization available - there was far more character customization options available than what we had in 1.0 anyway. With a little creativity and imagination I'm sure you could make a character very close to your real life appearance anyway.

    He wants the complete opposite actually.
    He is referring to "combo" attacks that some of the previous games have had.

    For example, pretend I have a skill that does 300% damage and causes Daze if the enemy is stunned. However, my class doesnt have a stun.

    You have a stun though. The only way for him to use it, is depending on you to stun the enemy.

    So a tank could cast a stun, which enables him to use his skill and cause Daze, and the other DPS has a skill that has a bonus only triggered by Daze.

    Boom, 3-man combo that relies on cooperation.

    Ah, so in other words he wants FFXI-style skillchains? It's an interesting mechanic, and they were fun to pull off in FFXI, but the reason why that sort of system isn't in FFXIV is to stop class favouritism, which FFXI suffered from (parties would often discriminate against certain jobs simply because they wanted to do a certain skillchain which the enemies they were going to fight was weakest against, and which that Job didn't have the right weapon skill/elemental combination.).

    It was done pretty well in a few of the other games, I never touched FF11 I was in the military and didn't have time for MMO's. Also thanks for explaining it in a way people could understand I guess cross class interacting skills isn't the right term. 1 more point, if there was discrimination against classes like that then SE didn't build boss fights and/or the skillchains correctly.

    Also as I said these aren't game breaking they are just things that make me scratch my head and wonder.... how the hell could they make the game so solid but forget to put stuff like this in??

    I also didn't realize you could put gear sets on the toolbars that makes things much easier, I guess I have another bone to pick. Why do we have to come to the forums or search around for features that should be made plain as day? Small improvements here and there can really add to a new players enjoyment. AND SE's cash income.

    Ok one last thing, why the hell can't we use whispers when in dungeons or duties or whatever? Is this an accidental bug that happened or is there some reason behind it?

    It's more to do with the player base. Other jobs could get the job done. But players learned that if you took certain specific jobs then it was easier. And it was all about easier and faster. As much as people complain about wanting the game harder, they'll take every advantage to make it easier.

    Except this game does have inter-related combat skills., it's not skill chains as such through, it's the interdependence of the roles.

    In combat, the Tank depends on the healer to stay up, but the healer depends on the tank to hold aggro. the tank depends on the DPS to take down adds and other things quickly while the tank manipulates the hate and keeps enemies facing them, DPS in many cases do their best damage from side or back attacks and depend on the tank maintaining hate to that enemies face correctly. Ranged and AoE DPS depend on the tank to maintain the grouping of mobs to pull off their AoEs ans stay clear of the aggro they generate. DPS need help from the healer, whenever aggro splits or adds arrive and the tank can't grab them immediately. Everybody depends on everybody.

    I see a lot of people talking about tanks or healers always getting the blame when there is a wipe, often time tanks will blame DPS or healers, but the honest truth is that everybody depends on everybody else. If the DPS are not doing enough damage and working together tot take adds down quickly, the tank is put under too much pressure, requiring more healing from the healer, potentially splitting the aggro, if the tank can't hold aggro, everyone else is going to find mobs in their face, If the healer can't keep up with the damage being done to the tank and DPS, someone is going to fall. If the tank falls, it'll probably be a wipe, if the healer falls it will probably be a wipe, if one of the DPS falls it will probably slow down and ultimately be a wipe. Why? Because each role depends on the other.

    The skills each player uses can set things up for the others. It's not a skill chain, it's about strategy and working well together.

    That's what gear sets are for. You don't generally switch classes by manually switching your primary tool, you activate a gear set that has all the gear you want for that class.
