Petition for change to World Transfer restrictions

I understand that people were desperate to create a character on any server but most people, deny it though they will, knew that they couldn't freely transfer from legacy to non-legacy. If you created a character on a legacy server, you knew what you were doing.

To be honest, if you created a char on different servers at all, you knew the risk. It's very nice of SE to allow server transfers like this, since it was their "fault".

However, yeah, transferring between data centers, even if a special one-time process, should be designed and permitted. (Make the application, and a dev does it manually sort of thing, even if they never offer such a service again).

How do y'all come up with this stuff? Do you HONESTLY think that "most knew about this"? If SO many people knew about this then WHY are SO many this pissed off? Are we all just that shallow & ignorant?

I know for sure none of my friends read a single forum before we played the game. We bought it, popped it in the ps3 or pc, and were just EXCITED to play!
Hell the first time I went to the forums was because I thought my ps3 was messed up. Nope. Complete chaos on here, especially for someone who's not a forum reader. I STILL have a beta girl floating around in space somewhere because I gave up trying to get her back on ps3. Little did I know that it was a problem btwn SE and Sony. That was only after pouring over forums for ever with misinformation and gossip.

SOME of us honestly just expect a game to work, and if something does go wrong, THEN we go see what's up. If you choose to read every single post when you don't have issues then great. (I'm married, have a toddler, go to a University, and doing hospital observation hrs. I have goals and a life outside this game!)
I don't have that kind of time. Oh and apparently neither do SEVERAL PEOPLE OR WE WOULDNT BE LOSING OUR COOL ON A WEBSITE! Why are people so sure of themselves when it's obvious what they are saying cannot possibly be correct?!

Also, it's very "Nice" of them? BS! I would certainly have been appreciative of a free transfer, HOWEVER
#1 the said screw you Legacy people, so they aren't doing a damn thing for me or my kind or even trying to calm the craziness!
#2 If you order fast food and they repeatedly get it wrong and after tons of attempts they say "Here's you're money back, enjoy the food and we're terribly sorry for the screw ups. We hope you come back and give us another chance" They are not doing me a FAVOR. They are RIGHTING a WRONG which is called GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

And Itachi I'm so tired of you block-headed narrow minded people who either think we are making this up for our health, or that you just have allll the answers. Have you not read that there are TONS of ppl who have stayed friends with many XI players? I have 7 old LS friends trying to get me with them and 3 RL friends as well. If EVERYONE has to come TO the Legacy servers do you have any idea what that's going to do? The minimal issue might be that there's sever congestion again. The worst case? We are all thrown god knows where, and the ones that managed to be together will then be split from their assured world/friends/and FC to come to me. Not to mention I was unwillingly placed on a JP legacy with odd maint. hrs and no one uses auto-translate. So NOW I have to move to one of 2 possible US Legacy servers that are already crowded, OR risk being a rare US player on a JP server with little options for who knows how long. So Now All My Tons Of Friends Have To Follow Me Off Of My Server To a Risky US Server Which Will Likely Be Full. That Means Some Of Us Will Get To Transfer To Our Legacy Server, Others Will Likely Be Placed On a World SE Is FORCED To Create Because It's So SCREWY In the FIRST place... I'm pretty sure you either wont read that, or will still wanna come up with more asinine stuff just to argue for argument's sake. ALSO you are from SHIVA and YOU'RE NOT PISSED BECAUSE ITS NOT HAPPENING TO YOU lol (takes a deep breath)

I swear I leave this forum mind-blow by the people who comment on these posts.
