


I think you meant it the opposite way around, as jobs will probably specialise better in their chosen streams, so jobs will be more useful than the class. (unless I'm getting confused. o.o)What I got from the blueprint was that the classes will still be there and still be useful. However, what its also saying is in a party situation you can bring a class such as conjurer to heal, but it will probably be more beneficial for the entire party to have the job "whitemage" instead. (not emphasizing there is a whitemage job yet just using it as an example.)
So the classes are still there and still have a use, but it might be the maximum benefit for a party to use a class over a job. Advancing into a specific job might help a party more. So doing said quests or what ever required to unlock jobs would be a good idea if you plan party play along with leveling classes.
