Please do not lock Jobs to the Weapon Class that unlocks them.

I hope so. I'm hoping it doesn't ruin character development for me. I don't mind unlocking a specific job with a specific weapon, but theres some weapons I don't like using for an aesthetic point of view and would like the option of using my favorite job with my favorite weapon.

Its kinda like the choice of using Warrior with a Great Axe, or a Great Sword. Its decent with both, best with the great Axe, but Great Axe isn't always the best choice for all fights.

I understand and I agree with you, we should be able to use different weapons when we switch from a class to a job. They may do it where you have to be proficient in a class before you can use different weapons for a job. I.E. I use Marauder to unlock the Warrior job. Initially I can only use axes but if I want to use swords or daggers my Gladiator class needs to be level 10 or 20.
