Oh yeah, having an npc tell you he needs 10 rabbit skins REALLY hides the fact that you're grinding. The only real difference is that with quests you spend some time travelling, and it's mostly a solo activity as opposed to a group activity.MMO's have changed. Many people feel there simply isn't enough quests and want more. Leveling entirely through mob grinding has been done away with for a long long time. People want things that hide the grind which is the primary reason most people don't like fates being the main way to level up. Most players simply won't play an mmo if grouping was 100% necessary in order to level up.
