FFXIV video settings TIPS!

I turn off the Multisampling in the FF settings, my videocard seems to do a better job at it then the game. (Radeon 5850 btw)

The video card AA's everything, but the game specifically only AA's what it needs to (what matters). It's the same thing either way, you're just using more performance by using your video card driver instead of the game's settings, and it probably looks worse too.

It's also less optimized by using your driver instead of the game. There's really no reason to unless you're using an AA mode the game doesn't support for further quality, which you're not.

I had a issue using AA through Catalyst instead of the game. When launching FFXIV, just before entering the game after the loading screen my PC would shut down on it's own... It wouldn't turn back on until i turned off the PSU switch and then back on.

I had drivers 11.4 back then and did not try since... too afraid to mess up my PC. I'll give VSYNC a try tho', it's kind of weird that there is VSYNC option in the game.
