Sick of reading quest dialogue

No way. I have been a member of this site for under five minutes and I already got a Gifthorse response. Slap me thrice and call me Sally! And it didn't take seven months to grow on me good sir! It only took a month ;D

Whatever the case, I can't see why people are so averse to voice-overs. I'm pretty sure everyone was expecting the entire storyline to be voice-acted, along with ten more zones, several different means of transportation, and basically just a lot more content. And then sep 22nd happened and we all just learnt to deal. Well how do you think the ps3 players are going to feel when they get the same crap sold to them?

Acting like everything's fine is the worst approach you can take at improving something. There's a reason drill seargents call their recruits "maggots".

I think PS3 owners will be far happier at launch than we were. They will have many more options available at launch. I will admit though, SE will need to find some way to get the hype built up again for the P3 owners. I'm not too worried though, and I am excited to get to play with the PS3 crowd. If they are integrated as well as the 360 gamers were in XI then everything will be awesome. We can all wallow in the mud puddle of friendship called Eorzea...together.

Even if the NPCs just said hi when you came up to them or something, it would be a vast improvement to the vocally barren wasteland that is this so-called immersive story-centric game.

a lot of people in this forums are ppl who enjoy everything in the game at this moment, no matter how bad it is

and when someone suggest anything, they don't want at all... these ppl enjoy playing old school game with outdated system

I just don't see how they could bring back the hype, there earlier failures have spread, its not just a flesh wound.

The Stigma has been baked in, once that smell is there you just cant get it out.

You must be a new gamer then. Try playing final fantasy 7. It is claimed to be the best and it is sans vo. And Zelda OoT is the best Zelda which never had vo. Still doesn't have vo. And people love the game.

Voice over yes. But not in english. Not everyone can english. Make it japanese voices, because it's a japanese game ^^
I hated that FF X, X-2, XII and XIII has english voices but no option to turn it in japanese voice.
