hah yeh they do this in a lot of other games, most NPC's have text dialogue but have a general welcoming sound, i love it. It adds so much characteristic for something so simple.
Are you actually asking for clarification or is this one of those rhetorical questions?
But maybe after you've finished trying to belittle me, you can go frollick in your lifeless wasteland of an MMO where everyone is a mute and you have to turn on your ipod in the background just to fill the void.
People say "I play itunes in the background anyway" like that's symptomatic of an already successful game. Ha. Don't make me laugh.
