Well for future reference they should consider presenting this information within the confines of the medium they are using. They made a FFXIV PC game. Not a FFXIV website.Having the information and lore of this nature is more easily presented to the player base through the official website. Having a way to bring it to us in game would take more time, more programming...and many people are already telling SE they have little time to turn it around. I think we should be focusing on the lore/information rather than the presentation.
SE has been surprisingly transparent. I never thought there would be some dialogue between producers and developers with the player base before this game. I'm starting to feel like players are becoming a little too self-righteous...feeling they deserve every single detail on their command...and things just don't work that way. We should be grateful for what we get, not demand information, then get information, and turn right back around and complain about it.
Having the information to ponder, speculate, consider, and just think about is entertaining in itself. Someone like yourself who has over 1k in posts, must know of this. I'm sure you post out of some enjoyment so don't act like any information given isn't another chance for you to debate, chat, even possibly troll over the content given. It's good for everyone and people just need to stop looking at YOU in the mouth.
Any news is better than no news.

Obviously the game is more than just that. IT is also the community. We have an official website. And an official forum. Both things you frequent. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to have it presented to us in game, but to expect it is asking quite a bit.
I'm only here on the forums trying to help make the game more interesting for people who aren't here on the forums.
you are looking at it as somone who frequents lodestone. That will not be everyone, even less come ps3. You are also making excuses, cause while its better the lore exist than not at all, it really should be accessible from the game in some form, that would actually add to the gameworld itself, and not just to the people who read lodestone

Information is easily translated through websites these days and people have several devices to look up web pages. If SE decided not to put it in game, it's not like people could not find information if they wanted it. I'm not saying I don't want like an ingame newspaper or something, because I do, but you have to be within reason. This is what we have now. Don't be ungrateful. We got information/lore even if it wasn't presented to us in a pretty in-game package.you are looking at it as somone who frequents lodestone. That will not be everyone, even less come ps3. You are also making excuses, cause while its better the lore exist than not at all, it really should be accessible from the game in some form, that would actually add to the gameworld itself, and not just to the people who read lodestone
