Why do people act as if good players have an obligation to help bad players but bad players do not have an obligation to spend time researching their class and learning how to play?

no one said it was an obligation to help someone else out just as no one here is obligated to even play this game or post on these forums. Kinda like you're not obligated as a "bad" player to do research on your job. or a good player not being "obligated" to teach. I shall now invoke the Good Samaritan law!

Lets just say if the only option you can come up with when you encounter bad/mediocre players is 'L2P F**** IDIOT', you should quit games that involve playing with other human beings.
You can stay silent. You can offer tips. You can quit the instance. There are plenty of other ways to react 'when someone wastes your time' rather than violate the ToS. :P

This is doubly ironic. For someone who doesn't care, you sure are unable to show it. About every thread I click on you're showing how much you truly do care. <3 And you're bitching about people wasting your time as if whining about it on a forum isn't.

From now on if I see that phrase in a run, I'll just actually watch the cutscene. They wanna continue the dungeon without me, fine by me. They wanna leave, that's their option too.

I never likes the idea of Duty Finder, especially after playing with WoW's LFG and LFR. These two tools usually harbouring social outcasts. I prefer old fashion gaming of looking for party from your own server. With one character system and character reputation, it usually raise a more healthy, non toxic player community, for example FF11 is much better than WoW's community.
