Non-ls based content please. There's hardly anyone on my server so asking us to group up is a bit too much to ask with the current tools we have.

SE WOULD IT KILL YOU TO INCLUDE ALL THIS STORYTELLING IN THE ACTUAL GAME PLEASE?!!!?!

Why not let people see this info in the game in a newspaper or something? Or meaningful NPC dialogue for once?! Dammit it's so frustrating to watch the actual website of the game to beat the actual game it's about.

Seriously! I think many people here (that honestly play the game) do nothing but grind to r50 and then complain about nothing do no. There are many side-quests to do, and every class has their own quests to do. All with cut-scenes and interesting lore. There is a game to play, but keep in mind this is a year+ long open beta :P

Before the forums, a lot of people got a class to 50. Then just quit. Like that was all there was to the game. I guess now they have a better place to vent, but...I think they should try to be a bit more proactive with their time. ^^:

You want me to take any interest in a side quest then make it worth my while. I'm not going to spend xx mins on a quest to get a brass ring, no matter how flowery the story attached to that quest is.

FFXI quests like the one for the Jaguar Mantle, or Sleepga II. Hell yes, give me those, they were fun and annoying and time-consuming but I got something from them.

Doesn't matter how puritan to SE you are, useless quest is useless.

I think a lot of those side quests should be considered low-ranking quests for newer players. I feel like a lot of what they have been changing is just getting ready for a re-opening of sorts. That doesn't mean there aren't things to do in the game. I work on several classes. Farm HQ materials. Explore. (Yes there is still stuff to look for!) And of course, await info and updates, then discuss a lot. =p There's always things to do, but I understand that we all want OTHER things too. ^-^ And we are slowly getting information on those things.

Information/lore does not = useless last time I checked. =p
