Info on the Lodestone!

This is not what this game needs. The future of this game is still very uncertain. They shouldn't be teasing us with stuff like this that dosen't really tell us anything. They should be providing clear information about what they plan on doing with this game. I'm tired of waiting for updates only to then still not learn anything.

Yeah, put the fan fiction IN THE GAME and use the website for facts ABOUT THE GAME.

So pointless putting such stuff on the lodestone when the newspaper should be a UI addition not a lodestone addition.

Posted this idea a while ago http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Tribune-Style. This would be excellent to have this in game.

They've created a TON of content and lore for lodestone that has nothing to do with the game.

I think the easter event closing text was some of the best writing and I was very sad to see that none of that text nor any of the events talked about there were present in the game in any form. All the NPC quest dialogue is generic at best.

I think for holiday events, it just is going to be that way for now. I think they are too preoccupied with the large changes to give us the cut-scenes with that sort of conclusion that I think we'd all like to see.

Honestly for those who are complaining about this, just quit. SE alsways did this when it came to ffxi. They do BACK STORIES. About upcoming content or around events. Since it is hard to present it in game ontop of the current events. Honestly there is nothing to complain about here. SE did this stuff with ffxi. And no one cried about it. And those who are complaining about the Role play style of getting info, this IS an mmoRPG.
Sorry but honestly think some people need to just stop crying over very little thing.

Agreed. The only other way to present this in the game would be to present lodestone messages in the boot page. Like after you log-in and it takes you to the page that has the "play" button, should be a list from the lodestone. Notice how there is a Boot version, which hasn't been updated at all since release.

If they can't connect the lore to the players, how about connecting players to the lore?

Make inclusion into the lore as a potential reward for participants. The next Buront could be you! : points at random group of folks not in the forum. :
