I do instances as a tank. If they insist on running off without me while i watch my cutscenes (if it's the first time I do whether they like it or not) and they die then tough luck. Pay attention to where your people are.

My first CM run I told them straight away I was new and would be watching cs. Nobody commented on that so things were going fine till that one fight with the airship firing at the ground and everything went to hell. I didn't know where to go and my map was still partially blank and one person was like "Tanks! What are you doing? ZOMG WTFBBQ!". I just shook my head and ran around trying to find them. They had all died and were heading back when i found them and then it worked fine.

I also barely step over the purple line and wait there till I see everyone appear before attacking the bosses. This is how things should be done.

some points, the Cut scene are watchable in the inn, simply for be able to see it one more time (some are badass like the one in prae)... not see it for the first time!!!

it's rude to force people do like this because you have already done it tons of time... it's them first time! respect this!

Yea, this would def piss me off. I haven't made it to CM yet but i don't give 2 shits about your speed run. Im playing a FINAL FANTASY title and the story is the most important thing to me and MANY others.... Let someone tell me i have to skip the cut scenes and i will just laugh in their face and tell them to kiss the bottom of my boots.

The dungeon is easy enough to not need all 8 people to complete it, if people want to watch the cutscenes then more power to them. As long as they don't expect me not to complete the dungeon whilst they're watching them.

Except you can't watch all of the cutscenes in the inn room. The journal doesn't show them all.

No it really isn't. Not when its part of the game, part of one's immersion, part of the experience. Yeah you can watch it as a rerun after the fact, but that really isn't the same, is it?

Did you watch the cutscenes the first time through? I bet you did. So what makes you so damn important, that now that you're taken care of, everyone else needs to get out of your way? That's the definition of being a prick.

You did the dungeon more than once? Good for you. Get over yourself. You want to farm? Put together a farming party. Don't diminish a person's first run just because you want some piece of gear and need it NOOOOW!.
