That's why I saw queueing up with JP only. If someone watches the cutscenes they don't say anything about it. They may continue on without them though. Not that it really matters because they'll still get to see the CS lol.

Here's an easy fix. There needs to be two options when you register for duty finder. Include cut scenes or don't include them. then everyone can choose the type of run they want. And the version that includes cut scenes, advancement should be blocked until all have finished or skipped them.

Agree, this has to stop. Personally I skipped first time. The cutscreenes was too bad to watch in CM and the last one was timedemanding as it was and I did not want to risk that the run I queued for in 3½ hour failed. Still had a player watching though and patient and nice (having common sense and giving proper respect to other players) as we was we let him do so without quarrel, just like it SHOULD be!
Add 100 more tomestones to the final boss if a first timer successfully watches all cutscenes, done.
Then people will start begging you to watch everything![]()
Majority rules! If your in a party and 7 people say skip the cutscene and you don't they are not elitist or being rude YOU are. Count yourself lucky you get in to CM with experienced people and run it fast because in an ALL new group it takes most of that 2 hour timer(more then that fi they really suck). What needs to stop is the afk moochers you can not do anything about them if you report them it does no good. Hell I reported griefing on garuda hard mode where a whm just chain pulled the boss to wipe the party till someone left to avoid the 15 minute debuff and SE pretty much said hes allowed to play how he wants so go shit in a hat.
Vote kick is needed. A blacklist for the duty finder is needed. Or a master solution would be get rid of the duty finder altogether so people will learn to play and gear up so they will get invited to groups.
Gee, I feel so lucky waiting in queue half an hour only to be lumped in with a team that won't let me watch the cut-scenes. Guess i better throw the dice and hope in another 45 minutes my new team isn't also speed running it.Majority rules! No, this isn't an answer

I didn't know that clearing CM anything more than 30 minutes is considered as bad. Gee, we have standards for clearing dungeons in record time now?Majority rules! I don't need an experienced group to complete CM. Any new player can complete CM with a relatively new team - that's what a story mode dungeon is, right?
Vote kick will make people like you gloat more, because you can now vote and kick the newbie, who will have to make the choice between enjoying the content he is entitled to, and paid for, or to satiate the 7 other people like you who feel their time is more important than anyone else's. Compassion and empathy are lost moral values of our society these days.
Hard to take serious with an orange lemon shaped hat on thy head.
I must be the only one laughing at these here replies. Yep, I'ma big stinky doodoo head because I wanna watch a 3 min scene.
Most of you act like your life is on the line about it. Most people who watch them, are people who are new to the runs.
You have 1 extremely good options here folks: Shout you're looking for a speedrun.
There's the solution. Or. Not be a total dookie head and let people watch? Why does all you gotta complain about every single thing?
Form your own party and call it a day. God dog...This community is killing my face.

So people wanting to watch the story line are being rude? Because you know they payed for the game and want to watch the story line and play it like they want but thats them being rude? Yea no.Majority rules! If your in a party and 7 people say skip the cutscene and you don't they are not elitist or being rude YOU are. The only people with that "gogogo" attitude (that WoW helped rot the mmorpg community with), are people who want everything a month after release, then bitch about how bored they are, when they realize they've burned their content.
Rude is enjoying yourself the first time, then ruining the enjoyment of others, just because you've finished and don't care about the people who were literally just like you, weeks ago. That's a sophomore attitude. Asking them to, is ok. Running ahead, is spiteful. I really doubt anyone is going to watch the movie just to make you upset. But running ahead and taking away their experience, because you happened to finish sooner, is about as rude as you can get.
Your fiftieth cyclical run this week, isn't as special as their first, so grow up.
