I don't see the problem. I think both sides are wrong in CM. If you want to watch the cutscenes, go ahead. We don't need everyone to beat the bosses. You will be left behind. If you want to speedrun, do it. But you won't have everyone availible for the fight.

I see its my first time to the content, and that part of the story, and I'm wrong for watching? I paid this all this money for software and sub, so I do not get to watch story when new to it, because the others have seen it already? The new person has a right to see the cut scenes without harassment and enjoy them. The other people are selfish, if they cannot wait a minute or two for the new person to see the scenes.

your argument would be right, if your second statement was correct, "Cutscene people are wrong for wasting everyone elses time. " is not correct at all, it would be one thing is a person watched the cutscenes every single time they ran the dungeons, but they don't, it is just their first time, and speed runners are bullying them to skip it.

Like I said before, if it is my first time in a dungeon, and I am using DF, I will watch the CSs you can threaten and bitch at me all you want. After that, I will skip, as I do not need to watch them again, if I want to do that, that is what the inn is for.

I repeat, the inn is for REPLAYING a cutscene, not watch it for the first time -.-

And you are wrong for not thinking this through.

A good speed running team can beat Praetorium in less time than it takes to watch the cut-scenes. As a result, you will end up missing large chunks of the cut-scenes - even if we discount the lack of context and perspective induced by missing the fight scenes and connecting material that put the cut-scenes into perspective. Imagine watching a movie, where you have to watch it in two sittings. (First sitting you get to watch the fight scenes. In the second sitting you get to watch the intermediate dialogue and character development. This would not make good viewing)
