Don't be fooled by the people who use the "Seven other people" as an excuse. None of them give a leprechaun's lucky green shit about anyone else. They're using as large a number as possible to reinforce a weak argument. They only care as far as it suits them. Those six people are allies because they agree. Take that away and those six other people could drop dead for all they care.

Frankly I'm done feeding their circular logic. No amount of arguing or logical debate, will make a self centered person think about others.

Doesn't really matter much if 1 person wants to watch a cutscene let them. We just kept going on with the run killing trash, bosses ect while he watches. CM is so easy you don't even need all the people to continue if 1 guy is watching CS, let them not really slowing the run down too much. We didn't really care if we had 1 guy in CS full time.

I'm very sad that my CM run was a compromise between me being allowed to watch cutscenes and the others speed-running.

We were just skipping past everything, killing things, shooting cannons. I hardly had any real idea what was going on. I usually come out of a dungeon having fully (for the most part) grasped its concepts, but with CM . . . I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you one thing about it. Not a single tactic during events or mechanics of boss fights.

Whenever I re-run CM with my Free Company (it's going to take time for enough of them to reach 50, and I'm OK with that; I was just rushing a bit because I wanted to see how the story ended) I'm going to be going in with an absolutely fresh mind. That doesn't seem right to me.

I have to ask, does anyone working on "end game" remember at all that they were new as well? The way they act, you'd believe that these people began at 50. Last I checked, Diabolos wasn't a Legacy server.

I'm sorry but no one can convince me that skipping the cutscenes and watching them in the inn is just the same. Um no its not, I like to be immersed in the story I love it, when I got to CM I did not skip the cutscenes cause I wanted to see my party members with me in them. If I skipped that and watched it in the room it would not have been as epic, and I would have been standing there alone, woooo -_-

FF has always had groups of friends working together to fight a common enemy, yea I would actually like to SEE my team and I fight lol
I never make anyone skip their cutscenes & don't see any reason why others do. You want a speed run, form it yourself don't force ppl to rush through their storyline.

Just joined an ongoing CM run, the new guy was scared silly by two bullies of not-skipping the scenes... and they started insulting me too when I started defending him.
Oh well, filed a report for insults and harassment, hope SE gamemasters do their work properly.

I hope SE realizes that there's a big problem about this going on, and take a strong stance against these people.

Ignore bullies. DO not engage in unproductive debates. IF they refuse to play and disrupt the flow. Report them. DO NOT give them reason to continue their acts or SE to see you as part of the conflict.

Yes some of us want to speed run. Get our tomes. But have no right to tell others that they can not view game content. DF is free for all to enjoy it to the full games content. No matter what you want or feel.

You have no right (including myself) to tell a person "viewing cut scenes is a violation".

Harassing and threatening them, as well as claiming power you do not poccess is a violation, and can be punished by SE.


Report people who harass. Do not get into any debate. Simply say "I have the right to view the content of the game as it is created, harassment is against the TOS".

Wait. Make a harassment report, then continue. I have already seen numerous people suspended for it.

IF you are running CM for the story. Are on hyperion. Message me. I will be glad to Tank, Heal or DD it with your group and allow you to watch all the cutscenes.

I remember my first time where one tank was yelling for people to skip the CS's and I just ignored him and watched them anyway. They cant exactly stop you and there's nothing they can do to you. Not everyone has a strong character and can react to psychological harassment... that's why bullying exist in the first place.
