No, I dislike idiocy. When people blatantly contradict the purpose of the game functions just to suit their own ideology I have an issue with them.

"Dealing" with people is not life. Life is a struggle and we intend to win over these immature people. It's our game and they are turning this into something even worse than a WoW community and it's up to us to turn it around and fight back at this nonsense.
DO NOT be passive about this. Get these immature people out of Final Fantasy for good, they DO NOT belong here. It's as simple as that.
Also, GM's and such were much more intolerant to these kind of things when FFXI came out and we need more of this kind of reaction from GM's and SE.
this statement is whats wrong with this.. i will not skip anything i pay for this game i will watch it as it happens fuck the inn im just lucky im tank so when ppl run in they get fucked and i laugh

It's much easier to learn the fight mechanics by playing the game than using video tutorial etc. Almost everytime I have got a player who says they have watched a vid, they have had a had poorer performance than those we have personally instructed.

The attitude "STFU: cut the scenes or get otu for sfking, you lazy [slur]" attitude is NOT the way the game is intended to be played. Players behaving like jackholes to one another constitutes harassment, and there is a report function for that. And being in Castrum/Praetorium for the first time and trying to enjoy the content in context, with the battles fought and the areas cleared, makes all the difference.
Some of you may feel that simply watching the cutscenes in the inn, divorces from the experience in the instance, is as useful, if not more preferable, than watching them in-instance. Remember: This is for people who are first timers. I say to you now that you are wrong: Human memory doesn't record data this way well. Divorced from context, memory has ways of jumbling things up, aligning different events and scenarios, and then interpolating what the brain thinks should go there. It attempts match expectations and smooth the path over, regardless of whether the elements make sense.
It is like being told that Titan Hard Mode has Landslide, Geocrush, and Weight of the Earth, and that's all you need to know to fight it. It is like being told this, repeatedly, at and during the fight while dealing with all the other stuff. You won't have the pattern, the experience, or the expectation of random action (directionality, gaol target, etc.) nor its experience. Fighting a dungeon for the first time integral to the story's flow should provide all players with the understanding that they will be there.
No.
The problem with Castrum is that the designers of the game made the dungeon the way it is, not making the cutscenes skippable -- which, by the way, are IN the dungeon, not outside of them. They made the content snoozable, sneakable. They made it so easy that elitists could EASILY use it to dump over players, and then made it lucrative enough for them to want to "farm" it.
It should not be possible to sneak past mobs. The chests should be more lucrative than a single potion. The mobs should drop some items with more regularity so as to make killing them more useful. One can take a page from other MMOs and actually employ a count system that counts against your totel for every mob you skip, a reward at the end being based on mobs killed. Rewards like gil, seals, or even a difference from the tomes. You can start with 100, but each mob killed increases this by 1; but each mob left unengaged, for each side section guarding a chest, reduces it by 1. And so on.
Castrum's design is poor as it stands, and is meant to be breezed through, and being made farmable for tomes should never have happened. Shoulda left that to the Praetorium, but they didn't and now we are stuck with pinheads and jackholes who now use it to epeen.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I think it is commendable that Azazela is willing to skip for the sake of others, but like many people I am not.
I will go through cutscenes faster if you ask me nicely, but I shall not skip anything.
As I said earlier, I have plenty of activities to keep me busy while I wait for the DF.
And I have no problem with "being that guy" that leaves the party if they make a problem out of me watching cutscenes.
Want to speedrun? Then don't use the Duty finder to make your parties, but make your own.
It is that simple.

Felis catus
I despise those people. That's why I'm in an FC and a Linkshell, so I can avoid people like them.
You only need DL Jewelry + Primal weapon and full AF gear in AK to start running it.
It's the Binding Coil and Titan HM where you'll have issues without proper gear at the moment.
Ahahah. Ha. Goddamn ppl, better L2P yo. You need nothing of the sorts for AK. GC weapon + AF gear is enough. I'll give you, it's slow, coz of DPS.
And then you go to CM or Ifrit without DL gear and u still get chewed for not having DL stuff. So where do newbies get gear? Magic?
People getting silly in their demands.
Couple rules I have:
*Only make fun of a player that doesn't know mechanics if
A) they don't tell you they don't know mechanics
B) you tell them and they don't show any sign of doing it properly
*If they come to a 50 dungeon with a ilvl 45ish weapon, they're jerks, there's no excuse when ilvl55 is so easily available.
*Don't queue in DF for CM/Prae SR ever, let the poor babies have their super long queue so they can watch their precious CSes and spend over an hour in a dungeon
*Anyone who bought their relic win should be avoided, completely.
*Avoid people that say relic + DL, relic + ak and some af even is fine for everything pretty much unless you're a tank.
