not really, the best set in that lvl range is the cavalry set, which imo doesn't look as good as the militia set but at least better than the full suits :P

Here's the problem: most gear look good on females, but not so on males - if you are a highlander hyur or rog it's probably even worse with the exception of only a few classes (pld af, war af, mnk af etc).

I was originally a hyur midland male, and was thinking maybe i should stay with it until se introduces classes like dancer again - albeit that got sped up the moment i got the colosseum shawl. Maybe i would switch to female midlander in the near future when i get the chance... since that is a fine balance of delicate masculinity :P

No. No, it doesn't. It's just more visually acceptable to you that female characters are near-naked because that's what happens in most games. As a girl playing a female character I despise most of the gear in this game. I got no problem with showing skin, mind you; I got a problem with ugly and ridiculous. Subligars are ugly and ridiculous, on a male or a female. Bard AF is a god awful jester suit, on a male or female. Most robe/half-robe models in the game are hideous, on a male or female.

And dyes are all but useless, since even while leveling you can't dye most dungeon gear, let alone once you've hit the endgame.

50 lvls of subligars, followed by a jester suit and then DL (which, admittedly, isn't the worst-looking thing the game has to offer but not exactly something to strive for either, visually). It's been killing the game for me too.

Vanity slots can't come soon enough.

I don't think gear looks good on females either. I started as a Miqo'te but all the gear I wore looked like I took a sheet and wrapped it around myself. I eventually made a Lalafell and was content because they're so small its harder to make them look ridiculous, though the armor is more dealt with for me because I prefer cuteness and there is no cuteness in armor in this game.

At least there's a viable alternate set of craftable gear you can get if you have the resources. Oh wait, THE CRAFTABLE SET IS JUST ANOTHER BLASTED VARIATION OF THE TRASHCAN SUIT!

Whoever decided that design should be the prime endgear template for tanks had to have been smoking something. Along with the Dev that decided 90% of Tank pants must have a redundant codpiece worn on top of them >_>

Also, pink and proud.

Aside from the leopard skin thong I would be fine with that costume design while I wait for vanity. Its nothing special, but at least its not gawdy (minus the thong ) and supports Head Piece Toggle. Why couldn't that have been the template for one of the endgame tank options?

Every time I see someone walk in that I have a great urge to walk towards my kitchen and get my can opener.
I would really like to see the person that designed this explain, perhaps even demonstrate, how the hell someone is able to move around in that.
