Looking like a clown is killing the game for me

There is a lot to be said about playing a game where your character looks awesome. Even if they don't look awesome, they look... well, not completely ridiculous. In this game, my scholar spends every waking moment in perpetual ridiculousness.

From his big green earrings that flop all around as he runs to the white spandex (massive upgrade from the knee socks and oversized blazer that was the artifact gear), I can honestly say that if I saw him walk in the room I would have to stifle a chuckle, and if I found out he was my healer and my life depended on him... I'd make my peace with whatever deity I subscribed to.

I want to like my character, I can't express how much I do... but he looks like an idiot. Always. At all times. It is so painful to see that I cannot begin to express.

Please, PLEASE give us vanity slots in 2.1

i agree that the gear in this game is ridiculous. I am a 42 blm that looks like a jester of the court. It does not ruin the game for me but it would so much better if I actually enjoyed looking at my character just a little bit.

I think I would still take the "graduation outfit" of a Scholar of that of what the Bard looks like. If it wasn't for the hat being the saving grace, I would completely hate my character's look. As it stands, I only like about 15 percent of it (The Puss in Boots hat is awesome).

Bard AF gear is not that bad, on a female character. But those pants on a male.........yeah that's the whole reason why I switched to a female character lol.

Well usually I really ignore the "complaining about xyz - wave" buuuuuuut, hm, we really look ridiculous most of the time ^^ It's just true. The strange is, the level 15 dungeon gear looks really awesome, the level 50 AK green equip looks like a piece of shit. Why is that? I mean, devs, what do you think...in which world do high level players want to look like a piece of crap? What was the intention behind that? A normal thinking aduld person would know, that people will dislike this.

I love the game btw, having alot of fun with it. I just dont get the logic behind this.
