All these complaints and Not one really good idea or suggestion. Hmm.
Personally I'm having a good 'ol time helping random people beat Titan on WHM or BRD (if they ask nice enough lol). Such a fun fight.
....Aren't they already going to be adding HM dungeons...? Your "ideas" are already being used... and it isn't really an "idea" since like every MMO ever does it.
That's really pretty much mostly because of the fact theres like 20dps to every one healer or tank... all MMOs suffer from slow dps queues.
And as for ppl bailing, yeah, it sucks, know, but its hard to control what people do. Some just join to troll and leave, not caring of the consequences. All MMOs also have this.

Take all those dungeons in my list and make lvl 50 versions. Then have HM versions on top of that. Add in reasons to run them (gear/gil/crafting mats/etc). Basically tweak the treadmill to require you to run those for drops instead of spamming CM speed runs and getting it all in a week like right now. Also improve Prae/CM to be rewarding with HM versions as well. Bam, lots of things to do. But let's be honest, that will never happen since that would take months if not years to do + reinvesting money earned which is a no no. I am full of suggestions, let me tell you but problem is having someone listen to and or implement them is nigh impossible by the looks of things.
This is something people have brought up in every single mediocre MMO I have ever played over the past 30 years. Yes, maybe I should quit but do you really think SE wants that? I think they want this game to be successful instead of ending up in the F2P trash bin like most MMOs end up doing these days mostly to do with inferior/sub par end game. On the plus side there is indeed hope out there, GW2 is a good example of a company that seems to take their product very seriously and have the passion/dedication to go that extra mile. If it had trinity I would not even have tried FF 14 ARR so yea.![]()

Hmmm... lets see what could be done.
I also like this game, but it gets boring waiting 30 minutes in que to go to an instance, then someone quits for w/e reason and there goes 30 mins of my time again. Some suggestions out of nowhere, some more serious than others:
- Scale fates the more people the harder it gets.
- Make fates affect the world not just loop them, like people already know which fate is next beat it, run back to town, run to the next one, if fates have a meaning make them more important, not just a way to grind up to level 50.
- Gear, we need more variety of gear, everyone ends up using the same stuff.
- Duty finder, it needs optimization for faster que times, I know healers and tanks get pretty much instant que, but that's probably because there's no incentive to que, i'd suggest giving exp bonus, gil bonus or w/e bonus to the players that help even the que numbers. Like if tanks are missing before you use the duty finder it would tell you what % of each class/job is there queing atm, and what is missing, if you go in with the missing class/job then it'd give you bonuses. Bet that'd even the numbers a bit more.
- Party/companion while using duty finder, I find it awfull that I can't party with people to level up other classes while I'm in que for a dungeon in duty finder. If I'm not the party leader it shouldn't be a problem; when I'm called into duty finder just kick me out of the party I was in and get me to the fight!
- Market, need to do something about it, prices are crazy low or crazy high.
- CULLING, fix the hidden monsters / party members for christ sake.
That's all that comes up to my mind, I think there's more but these are the ones that bug me the most.
PS: If these aren't added/modified it won't affect my decision to play this game. But please look into these if possible lol.

EDIT: Added culling to the list.

You mean the company that:
- did a 180 degree turn on what they sold the game on by slapping vertical stated gear progression in, available through a single means within a few months of launch.
- spent years selling GW2 on e-sports, then launched without even the basic features for that (proper matchmaking, rankings, scrim servers, observer modes, etc), and then even when they eventually got round to putting them in 10 months later, they were lazy, poorly designed failures.
- added a WvW system on a game engine that is not up to it.
- that has such dedication, 7 months in there were still literally hundreds of bugs with class skills & traits.
- that constantly ignored alpha testers when they pointed out major issues
Anet were once known as good company, that is no longer case.
Everyone has their opinions; I have nothing bad to say about GW2 since it's entirely b2p and has provided me with well over 2k hours of entertainment so far (best value ever!). Anyways, did my myth run for week so off to do some GW2 content that gets added every 2 weeks or so...I will try to get back into FF14 2 months from now or when ever 2.1 eventually shows up. I paid 3 months sub to not play the game, oh well!

1. Remove the Subscription*.. I foresee the ultimate decline happening in 3 months, tops. (Brutal competition over the horizon)
2. Fix the client/server side delays between every single gahdamn action. (game-breaking & awkward)
3. A SUMMONER THAT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE A SUMMONER AND NOT A HALF-BAKED AFFLICTION LOCK!!!
4. A competitive pvp scene.
I'm not a coder/game designer, but I do understand what separates a great game from a forgettable mediocre one.
*Blizzard understands they can't create another mmo as established as WOW, which is why they scrapped 'project titan' and built it again from the ground up with a b2p/f2p model in mind. Its just the ideology of most modern gamers nowadays mang. Its gotta be premium vip service, content, coupled with revolutionary gameplay to be able to surpass or even attain any noteworthy amounts of success.

I'd say being willing to take a broken game with a damaged name and spending millions on rebuilding it counts as taking "their product very seriously and have the passion/dedication to go that extra mile". I honestly doubt it's possible to satisfy the crowd I see on the forums complaining about a lack of content when all they do is basically burn through everything as quickly as humanly possible anyway. No matter what gets added, these people will just burn through those like locusts and then go back to complaining again until the next cycle comes around. Should there be more contents? Yes. But should they take their time to polish the contents and pace the release to match the game population's progress in general, instead of pumping out sub-par junk every other week just because a few loud and extreme players demand their fix now? Absolutely. And the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, so I honestly don't care for comparisons.
Anyway, back to the game for me. A lot more fun for me than posting here.
Ah, now resorting to insults. Well I am done replying for now. You enjoy the game, that is your right and is totally cool by me, Personally, I had hoped there would be more things to do than a single 5 man dungeon and 1 raid for three months. Content wise, that is laughably low if you ask me. FF 14 ARR launched in a window where there is a total lack of 'new; MMOs and is perfectly timed however I am not sure it's going to stand the test of time. Far more meatier MMOs have come and gone over the years, that's just how I see it.
