If the only problem was that these system where rushed and not completed , then all Yoshi-P's team would have to do is complete them, not change it. Things would have been completed by now and nobody would complain anymore... but guess what? That's not the cause. These system suck at the core and because of that Yoshi-p's team has to redo them from scratch and this is why 8 months later we are still waiting.

You may like Tanaka because of FFXI but let's face the truth, the dude seriously dropped the ball on this one.
We asked for drastic change. As I recall, Tanaka's plan was originally to finish the system, but he was axed from the project and Yoshi asked us what we wanted, and it turns out we wanted the whole system to change. I'm not saying he's great and to be honest I really don't care about him as a person, but I don't think it's right to go on an emotional tirade on him or to claim the ideas he had where "behind" just because they where incomplete (and we know they where incomplete because promised features where and still are missing).

He is not solely to blame for the under performance of the game; just because he's the man in charge does not make him the scapegoat for blame. Communication is extremely important when working on a project, and from what we can understand, Square has been having this issue for at least the past 5 or 6 years.

Also, do you happen to have a link to the interviews that explain how the system will change. I would love to find out where they're going with it.
