I'm not saying he's great and to be honest I really don't care about him as a person, but I don't think it's right to go on an emotional tirade on him or to claim the ideas he had where "behind" just because they where incomplete (and we know they where incomplete because promised features where and still are missing).
He is not solely to blame for the under performance of the game; just because he's the man in charge does not make him the scapegoat for blame. Communication is extremely important when working on a project, and from what we can understand, Square has been having this issue for at least the past 5 or 6 years.
Also, do you happen to have a link to the interviews that explain how the system will change. I would love to find out where they're going with it.
