I think MS are building their own MMO that is why they are making all other Dev's jump through so many hoops right now to discourage any competition on the platform.

It wont be on Xbox 360 or in the next gen Xbox, SE is horrible with their subs system look at the system they had for FFXI.... Horrible, look at the one they have for FFXIV... Horrible, that wont fly on Xbox live sorry
As for nintendo, it might, yeah nintendo would be a great asset, but again it all depends on what happens with this game, would i like it to be on wii2 ? i'm not sure, so far the only reason i would get a wii is for last story really
Huxley was going to be release for xbox 360 but now it on hold. i wonder what mmo it be i bet it's just halo lol.

It won't happen on an Xbox because Microsoft want their cut of the profit, unless they made you pay for Xbox Live maybe and the game which people would complain about having to pay for both.
If it became a big hit they'd be no point because they'd be earning enough and wouldnt want to pay the high royalities and also Microsoft will want you to have gold and SE dont want to make it so you need to have live gold to play. Its always abotu greedy and if this game became popular it wouldnt be worth it to go over and lose royalities on them, it'd be fine.
SE had an Xbox360 version ready to go but could not come to an agreement with Microsoft over XboxLive. I don't know if they have continued to work on it along with the PS3 version but awhile back SE said they could have Xbox up and running in just a couple of months if they reach an agreement.
As for the problem with XboxLive, it has nothing to do with the servers or the hardware or anything technical...it is all about $$$!
Microsoft ran FFXI on the Free Xbox Silver and never made a dime from it. Now they insist FFXIV run on Xbox Gold so that they at least get that revenue but SE does not want users to have to pay Twice to play.
I however have a Solution: Allow Microsoft to be the Sole Distributor for FFXIV through Xbox Live so they at least make money from retail sales but still have it playable on Xbox Silver (free) but SE still gets the monthly fees.
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
Well it's already on 360, what I meant is when they transfer platforms from ps2 to ps3 it would take off limitations ps2 have for FFXI, which is btw already an issue.
In my opinion it would simply remove limitations from both games, when SE could switch platforms for their mmo's, giving them longer life and more possibilities in the future.
PS3 limitations are already an issue for FFXIV![]()
maybe you don't get it they said they never port FFXI over too PS3 becuase it would take more time to recode the game then make a new one and that why they made ffxiv for pc and ps3Well it's already on 360, what I meant is when they transfer platforms from ps2 to ps3 it would take off limitations ps2 have for FFXI, which is btw already an issue.
