You lost the reason for why you should play a game: to HAVE FUN!

So, until we get PVP there's no reason complaining and crying about a class or another.
You should play whatever fits your playstyle and whatever you like most!

Do you like BLM? More than others? So play BLM! If not...then choose a class you find much more interesting, be it BRD or not.

You can find the answer of your question by answering at this:
"Are you having fun with BLM?" --> If yes, keep playing it and maybe try another class or two to see if there are other classes which can be for you. If no, then you just have to search for something else.


For all of you guys, here a quick guide:

- Do you like TANK style?
[YES] - Do you like Sword+Shield and standard Tank style? --> PICK PLD
[YES] - Do you like alternative tank with a bit more of dps, tricky to play? --> PICK WAR
[NO] - So go on and don't choose PLD or WAR

Do you like HEALER style?
[YES] - Do you prefer standard healer style? --> PICK WHM
[YES] - Do you prefer healer+pethealer a bit more tricky and different from standard? --> PICK SCH
[NO] - So go on and don't choose WHM or SCH

Do you like DPS Style?
[YES] - Do you like MELEE?
--- [YES] - Do you like the Fist-style and position-skill? --> PICK PLG
--- [YES] - Do you like the Lance and good burst damage? --> PICK DRG
[NO] - Then you love ranged style!

Do you like Mage?
[YES] - Do you like standard mage with ability such as Fire, Blizzard and Thunder? --> PICK BLM
[YES] - Do you like debuff class with DoTs and Pets? --> PICK SMN
[NO] - Then there's last question..

Do you like BRD?
[YES] - You found your class.
[NO] - Go on and play another game or come back maybe in the future!


Ok now you can easly replace "Do you like" with "Is it more fun for you"..

The fact is that in a PVE game you just need to find a class to have fun with. Nothing else matter..
If you are not having fun with your class..then change it!

If you are unable to find a class which can give you fun while playing ....then simply STOP PLAYING!
This happened to me on GW2! None class was interesting for me, I tried one and find it not even enojyable...I stopped, that's all.

Sounds to me like you love BLM but you are crying because you wish that BLM should be the best in the game.
The same for others, PLG, DRG, SMN...they want to be the top in everything and instead of learning how to be the top of their capabilities they are coming on the forum to cry and ask for improvement because they want to be as less risky or more reward for that lvl of risky!
This is how SE decide the game should be, things will change in the future but since the game is out from less than 2 month is pretty early to talk about OP, NERF and bla bla bla (crybabyomg!)..

Gamers should focus only on having fun!
Here we have just one problem: BRD is quite too easy to play with and not even fun enough compared to other classes!

There's no other valid complaint on the Earth for someone who is searching for FUN!
If you just want to be the BEST PLAYER of the world..then you can be that player with a class different from BRD!
If you are looking for fun you can have it with every class! You just need to figured out which is the one for you without being jealous of others..
