Is there anything to this idea which doesn't relate to getting drunk?

I don't think it'd score as a great hit in SE's eyes. Now, admittedly, most real festivals usually end up being drunkard parties, but they always have an underlying subject for celebration.

Well, Oktoberfest is all about drinking, dancing, have fun with your friends, drinking,... uh... have fun, drinking, interactions with cool stuff, dancing and getting drunk.

So, it's not everything about getting drunk.
