Perhaps you should expand your use of the internet outside of games, game forums, youtube, etc, much of the internet is fine, and is at a far more mature level than the aforementioned areas, the problem is not the internet, it is the stupidity and immaturity of many of those who play online games.

Ive been on the internet since before it was popular, pretty sure it isn't the pretty pink roses land you think it is.
