Invalid argument. It does not matter what the majority use a system for, the priority is given to what the system is meant to be used for.It doesn't matter what it was originally designed for. Fact of the matter is, the great majority of players in the duty finder now are there for speed runs. The minority of players looking for a one-time, specialized run should be the ones to find a group in order to minimize the overall number of players being inconvenienced. Simple utilitarianism.
I can assure you the argument is quite valid. Minimizing inconvenience for the greatest number of players is the most rational way to act in this situation. Here's a nice image I found on another forum:
