I could imagine another healing class that branches off to Time Mage (support buff-healer type and other crazy time utility spells) and Green Mage (support debuff-healer and other rare status ailments spells).
As i stated earlier Green mage was a rarely seen class... i think tactics only... to make a green mage would be reduntant if they made a red mage. In every true RPG (in other words non-strat games like tactics) Red Mage always got most WHM and BLM skills mainly all the buff and debuff skills with good enough healing and caster damage. I much rather see a class that has been used since the first FF than a class hardly seen. Red mage should also be forced (since it is considered a jack of all trades) to wear the appropriate gear for what you want it to do since it would be seriously OP to let it heal and cause both physical and magic damage without altering stats and gear.
