The thief is offline now. /sigh.... still no answer from square, I sent 2 tickets ingame, and no answer here from mods aswell.
Thanks for your support guys, yes, its very frustrating. It seems like the game is in the hackers and bots hands more than in square's. I dont see the point in continue playing
I know how it is, and how frustrating it is.
But you're among friends, just try to be as patient as possible.
It may take days for you to even get a first response, do everything on your end that you can to ensure a relapse in account vulnerability isn't repeated.

i opened the 3rd ticket, and waiting. oh and i saw this
I logged in at around 7.15.... so close!! >.<
It will probably take 3-4 days for them to respond to your first ticket, it isn't exactly a fast turn around.
Being patient about it is probably the hardest part. I recommend GTA 5 to get your mind off of it.
Also, calling support when they open up is probably the fastest way to escalate it (if you can stand being on hold for 2 hours)

I admit it is unacceptable to be hack but at the same time, there is a free application to avoid this (IOS, Android), and people still find a way to come to complain because the account was hacked.. But whose fault, the user or hacker? So apart from the fact of not having a cell phone, I do not understand how it can be hacked.. -_-

I don;t understand why poeple are not using security tokens? Most poeple have a smartphone these days and it's a free app!?
Simple solution to all these key logging problem people are coming accross.
Apart from both not having a smartphone AND not wanting to pay the one off payment for a security key that lasts years (which at that point you are at your own risk) i cannot see a reason why anyone would not have one!

I had a bad experience with security token in Final Fantasy XII don;t understand why poeple are not using security tokens? Most poeple have a smartphone these days and it's a free app!?

Surely the only bad experience you could have would be for you to lose the deactivation code? It does tell you on the instructions to keep the security key deactivation code in a seperate place from the security token.
