Yes. Because RO has a card trade-in system now... You do know that, right? They use to also keep our username and passwords in plain text format....
I ran Molten Core for over a year without seeing Felheart Robes drop once. Had to grab it in a random run years later. It was sweet when I finally got it. Please don't complain about spamable Ifrit kills that get you mythostones in the process. Show some determination and resolve and let your strength of character shine through. The moment you get that weapon will be all the more satisfying and something you can be proud of.
I'm in the same boat with the Garuda weapon but I'm not asking SE to change anything. It's fine as is IMO.
At least you get tombstones from it, not many, but it's better than nothing or at least that's what I tell myself to help me sleep at night after what happened last night. The sword dropped for the first time in about 30+ runs and a PLD with 3900 HP that fail stunned the whole fight won the roll with a 97 while I rolled a 88...
Damn you're unlucky. We had so much Felheart we could of outfit our 4 warlocks three times over.I ran Molten Core for over a year without seeing Felheart Robes drop once. Hello,
First off, sorry for the delayed response on this. We understand that there are requests to implement a token system for primal rewards, however, we currently do not have plans to introduce such a system.
As always, we will continue to review your feedback on this topic, so please be sure to let us know your thoughts.

My feedback is that I would like you to bring them back![]()
I really, really, really don't like a system where it is entirely possible that I would NEVER get the weapon drop that I want.
You guys saw this in 1.0 as an issue and started the token system, so obviously you understand that it's viable and wanted. I don't care if I have to trade tomestones to get the weapon, just give me something for my efforts. Please?
Edit: This is kinda why I get so burned out on FFXI, because it's entirely possible that you NEVER get what you're going after. I really dislike that I may end up with the same burned out feeling here since otherwise I really enjoy XIV.
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
I couldn't agree more. I hate being unlucky with drops as much as anyone but the random nature of the..you know...RNG is what makes it special when you do get it. I remember raiding in WoW on my hunter and trying for that god forsaken Chromaggus crossbow. I raided that place religiously EVERY week for like 9 months and it never dropped for our guild even ONE time. Not for any of us. I knew other raid guilds that got it all the time. It sucked and I never got it but oh well..that's the way it goes. The random nature of it is what makes it special to get. When everyone gets it no matter what it ceases to have much meaning or value IMO.Why? so you can get your weapon,t hen start a thread in a week called "i'm bored there's nothing to do i'm quitting"?
The fun isn't "hey look at my weapon", it's partying and working together at a chance, then when you get it, you feel like you earned a reward. I'm tired of this "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.
I'm not opposed to having certain things like *some* armor sets on a token system of some kind so people can make progress towards harder content regardless of luck but that doesn't mean every item in the game has to have some guaranteed path to acquisition.
At least give us 1 Casket, added with a 15% chance of obtaining a random weapon into your inventory after completion, SOMETHING. This isn't skill, or effort, this isn't work, it's boring tedious BS that we need to do fights we can all do with our eyes closed. These aren't amazing endgame weapons, so cut that crap out. These are weapons we need to get started on better ones.
That sounds all well and good on paper, but yeah, strength of character and resolve won't get me into a HM Titan group for my relic. People... generally look at Crafted weapons with distaste....I ran Molten Core for over a year without seeing Felheart Robes drop once. Had to grab it in a random run years later. It was sweet when I finally got it. Please don't complain about spamable Ifrit kills that get you mythostones in the process. AK drops weapons? since when? I have never seen one? O.o You really think I wanna run Titan HM with a GC weapon, or run with anyone with a GC weapon? Or are you one of the people who queue for it in full AF and the like? I personally am staying away from AK and titan til I have a decent weapon, to avoid being a possible detriment to any party I may join. lol, they don't do "everything you need"I don't understand any of this. For one, why are any of you spamming primals for weapons? Its like spamming the slot machine for money. You are better off getting your weapon somewhere else.
Gc gear weapons do everything you need. Weapons from ak do the same. Hq crafted weapons work as well. If gear progression is your goal then primals are the least effective way to do it.
Tokens aren't necessary because primal weapons aren't necessary. If you insist anyway "just because" then the rng grind is fair. You deal with it.

Everytime Garuda drops a book I am not in the group.
Everytime she DOES drop a book, it's SMN.....
Scumbag Garuda!
The reason it was put into 1.0 was because there was a chance that not only you but no one at all for a number of run would get anything more then some dark matter. Now that a weapon will always drop even if it is not the one you need or want there is a much better chance then in the 1.0 version to get the weapon you are after.
I have seen pretty much every Ifrit weapon drop at least once... Though I'm still going to try and build a house out of canes >.>
The cat is bemused =-.-=
