    Unfortunately this is a game breaking issue for elite content further down the line, and any significantly difficult content to come (and for some even present).

    Their client-server part needs to improve drastically, but so far they've shown no signs that they're "working on finding a solution".

    SE is the KING of "That's not my department".
    Sadly until the "higher-ups", as you put it, don't start giving a damn about this issue, they'll avoid any comments on threads like this .
    I can only hope that they will significantly improve this client-server/w/e "latency".

    While this is seen worst in Titan, its not just there as many point out. I cant even count the number of times its happened to me or my boyfriend since phase 3... Did they fix it in beta, no but they did make it slightly less as obnoxious That is not enough though and the lack of real responses about it is disheartening.

    My experience of the fight is - know the rotation, you won't get hit. I think the plumes are designed to be difficult to avoid, if you're not already moving to dodge them. I was getting hit constantly, then my partner memorised the rotations. Now when we reach the 2nd+ phases, he calls out the attacks for me. I can move in anticipation - I don't get hit. I still haven't beat the fight, however - it's tough, and there's just no room for error. My smaller static plan on using some sort of voip so someone can call out the attacks and help everyone avoid.

    Of course this does seem silly in a game which doesn't inherently have voip, therefore requiring you to either get access to a service, or have your entire party memorise the rotations. My other tactic was to suggest that someone who knows it has macros said up to announce the moves in PT chat, but no-ones took me up on this yet. (I think the tank should have this duty - they don't do much in this fight :P)

    By reading the forums, it seems that this was also a problem on 1.0.

    I was about to say the same thing! lol

    and what's up with the likes for this post? In beta there was around 2000 likes. I haven't seen a lot of the names from then so maybe that's why.

    I've been helping lots of people in the DF get through Ifrit SM and Titan SM and most people complain that they are out of the AoE's when they get hit. I guess not many people come to the forums?? Who knows.
