I had no lag before character creation opened up..phase 3,4, EA were all smooth

why the hell do I start lagging suddenly? i didn't change my computer, my connection, or anything for dam sakes

I too have been experiencing more lag these last few days. It's been much more than I've previously experienced. I didn't lag for weeks and figured it was "me" somehow. But after talking with some friends in other parts of the country and in other countries, I confirm what the OP is trying to say. Something recently changed for many of my friends and I.

Granted the pool is limited....about 60 or so people....but where there's smoke, there is usually fire....and i had zero problems with my "internets" 48 hrs prior to this post....the sad thing about these forums is that anything that REMOTELY goes against SE and the holy ass of Yoshi-p gets mocked by obese neck beards mindlessly defending something that is a problem for some.....so much so, that instead of just ignoring it b/c it doesn't effect them, they make a smart-assed post in response just praying to get a cpl "likes" b/c their life is devoid of meaning outside of the video game world....lol pathetic.

Yeah...Personally attacking people does not give weight to your argument, friend. I have experienced lag as well, but I know others who haven't. I don't go insulting them personally.

Avg Ping: 40

Did 5 Keep runs last night to finish Relic+1. Single lag spike on Demon Wall during Repel, hit me 6 seconds after casted. Typically its only seen on the effected player's end. My whole PT saw me not get knocked back and 5-7 secs later on their client saw me hit by repel and tossed off the side. As I was setup already for the next dodge rotation. Rest of my runs were fine.

Its random and its server side.

Just check the Technical Support section. There are many topics and one large one with people having issues with lagspikes. We're not talking about latency issues. We're talking about everything around us freezing for 5-10 seconds. And suddenly see everything being fast-forwarded once the connection kicks back in. (rubberbanding)

I had this issue pretty bad when I was connected via wireless. Once I hard wired it cleared up for me and only time I get it is when my ISP derps.

I could not dodge a single ground target on top of the frequent and annoying 5-30 second stalls. Garuda and Titan were impossible to do.

The Technical Support forum has quite a few reports of the same, and lists some of the acknowledged issues going on in game. You'd have better luck posting there, researching, locating possible solutions (some listed work for some players), etc. than you will find on GD. This is why SE gives us multiple places to post and share for specialized information ♥

I agree with the OP. I had no issues with lag in beta, early access or until recently. But the lag has gotten horrible. My wife and I were trying to do story mode Titan last night and the lag on Exodus server (NA) was so bad we literally could not avoid the pushback to death attack.

Had it two days in a row now starting around this time (7GMT), only had the very occasional lag spike before this and in Keep on Mondays, getting knocked off by Demon Wall after its died is all kinds of fun -_-.
