FIX THE LAGGGGGGGG!!!!

I'm on a JP server and i'll admit theres lag, but then again i'm stuck there since I missed the transfers.

The lag for me on the JP server is so tiny I hardly ever notice it, then again I'm NA East coast and JP is direct west so its not a long distance.

However a day ago I got hit by a huge lag spike that actually froze my game.

That was a first for me.

For two days now.....ALL dungeons have been lagging like mad.....fix this please!....This is a serious issue affecting about 75% of us NA players......Anything instanced.....i don't care if it's a 15 hour prime time maint. as long as it's fixed!!!!!!!!

The lagg has needed fixing since 1.0..... there really is no Excuse for it to still be here in ARR...

This is a different type of lag, it's not the usual network code lag.. connections just lag way more than usual at the moment. But agreed, both things need a fix.

The lag spikes exist, and they're random as hell. Funny thing is some people simply don't experience them AT ALL while I'm having lag spikes that last 5-10 seconds every couple seconds. It makes the game completely unplayable and even crafting is super annoying, since you wait a couple seconds for the game to react to the actions used. This isn't a problem with my internet connection, it's either something messing up the routing along the way to the servers (which would explain why some people don't experience them) or SE servers themselves.

Aye. I have 0 lag. The game has been running great. A buddy of mine who I often run stuff with does get huge lag spikes fairly often.

We're a bit unsure if it's just his crappy internet or not, but he never seems to have any issues with lag in other games so we're leaning the other way. Meh

Game is lagging for a lot of people. it comes and goes at random times and doesn't lag for everyone. It needs fixed. I did garuda hardmode yesterday and half the group was lagging like gil farmers, I asked my linkshells and they were lagging, and people in my FC were lagging. About 25-50% of the people I know lag at once, and it happens at random times and stops at random times. It makes absolutely no sense and it's not on our end. It's been happening constantly for a week or more now, making some things unplayable for a few hours then going back to playable after 2 hours.

I think they should just give people a fraction of a second more time to get out of some of the red circles. For the most part I can get out of them, but I consistently have problems getting out of the magitek cannon circles in Castrum Meridianum when they're centered on me. Even if I start running the very moment I see the circle, 9 out of 10 times I'll get hit. The same goes for the circle of ice on dhorme chimera.

There are probably plenty people who have no issues avoiding it, but it seems that the timer on the circle combined with my latency puts me right on the limit.

Three of our members were lagging in Garuda last night, even that old glitch where Garuda disappears and is untargetable sometimes.

Of course if it's not happening to you then it's not happening to anyone else.... >.>
