Just check the Technical Support section. There are many topics and one large one with people having issues with lagspikes. We're not talking about latency issues. We're talking about everything around us freezing for 5-10 seconds. And suddenly see everything being fast-forwarded once the connection kicks back in. (rubberbanding)

Which can lead to Garuda dissapearing from the screen and become untargetable. Happened to me quite a few times. And I was the one tanking her. She usually pops back on my screen after she teleports. This unfortunately causes major issues for primal fights, where timing is everything.

Titan becomes impossible, because the game freezes while the fight is still going on. And like people said. It's always a group of people that have the problem and at random times. Yesterday I had no issues at all, yet someone in my Titan party was experiencing it and some of my ls members.

For two days now.....ALL dungeons have been lagging like mad.....fix this please!....This is a serious issue affecting about 75% of us NA players......Anything instanced.....i don't care if it's a 15 hour prime time maint. as long as it's fixed!!!!!!!!

I'm having the same issue.
The content I'm having the most issue with are Garuda and Titan.
Garuda often stops and go in short intervals. And sometimes my mnk's combo won't register and I can only spam the first attack until it goes away.
On Titan, I can't dodge most Landslides directed at me (since I'm in the middle of it).
Weight of the Land are giving me a hard time too.
It has come to a point where I pray for it to target anyone but me.

It is making me feel terrible for not beeing able to dodge things.
I want hard content, but I can't enjoy it wth this lag.
Please SE work on this. Not everyone is having issues, but some are having a hard time playing.

I'm connected from morocco to NA/EU data centers, btw.

The lag spikes exist, and they're random as hell. Funny thing is some people simply don't experience them AT ALL while I'm having lag spikes that last 5-10 seconds every couple seconds. It makes the game completely unplayable and even crafting is super annoying, since you wait a couple seconds for the game to react to the actions used. This isn't a problem with my internet connection, it's either something messing up the routing along the way to the servers (which would explain why some people don't experience them) or SE servers themselves.

Aye. I have 0 lag. The game has been running great. A buddy of mine who I often run stuff with does get huge lag spikes fairly often.

We're a bit unsure if it's just his crappy internet or not, but he never seems to have any issues with lag in other games so we're leaning the other way. Meh

I lagged in an Amdapor Keep instance last night. During battles it was almost unbearable. Made it up the dragon and about 50 minutes in it finally corrected itself. It wasn't my connection as I had no simultaneous connections going on AND two other party members experienced really bad lag on the first two bosses, although our 4th never did. It was very odd.

I did AK two more times after that and was completely fine for both. It was random as hell, but it is definitely happening.

Some ppl lag some don't. Dunno why the lucky ones without lag have to call out "there is no lag, it's ur net...hurr".

Anyway, yesterday was the worst so far for me personally. Was getting like 1-2 seconds freezes so everything was like freeze, move fast, freeze, move fast...lasted for 1hr or so, and then I gave up. And it didn't happen in an instance. And wasn't just me. Ah well, not like regular EU->Canada + skill/position lag is enough I guess. Gotta catch it all! Goddamn bargain bin budget servers and the person who made the call for 1 datacenter.

Im one of the lucky few who are not lagging (yet) but its been growing worse lately for most ppl, and as a healer in groups, i have no issue dodging mechanics, but ive noticed most of my party members are DCing and getting hit by attacks at the SAME time.

If 3 of the ppl are DCing at the same moment, and getting hit by an AoE, and im not, I'm betting its on SEs side of things, and not theirs.

This same issue was cropping up like mad in Tera, and was making the game unplayable for me and friends. (Main reason I quit.)
