Yup they do, also Brazilians, Argentineans, Colombians, Peruvians, and like 30 other countries call themselves Americans....maybe you don't hear them 'cause they say it in Spanish or Portuguese mostly
Yes, the word whine does mean to protest in a childish way or fashion, that's why I stated, I don't quite see how asking a question is whining, I simply put out what I've been noticing and asked the question!~ Now I understand it I were to say something like, " STOP BASHING US Y.Y LEAVE US ALONE!" That would be whining. Quite like this!~And this is the difference between Americans and the rest of the world, in America if you complain about something you are automatically a whiner, the word to whine is that of what a child does when they can't have their own way.
These forums are really bad for pinning whiner on to someone when they have a valid complaint or opinion.

Yeah well, most stereotypes come from somewhere, and you cant expect others to start evaluating everyone individually. Even you do it im sure. You wouldnt go into a bad neighborhood thinking youre safe as usual, yet there are plenty of good people in them that wouldnt hurt a fly. Same goes anywhere else, including this game.
We have a very backwards self-centered, "Me" culture in this country, and our sense of entitlement is off the charts. Others, Japan in particular, are quite the opposite. Generally speaking, of course
TL;DR: Youre much less likely to find a ragequitting, go go go skip now, ninja looting, "you suck you worthless noob", <insult personal/mother insults here> in JP DF pool than you would here.
Not sure about EU, I assume theyre somewhere in between.
Actually, I've rarely seen any of those identifying as "americans". Most likely, they will say something like "Latin American", "South American", or just their own nationality. Also, as far as I know, only Argentineans really have issue with people from the USA calling themselves "americans".

I'm sure you totally knows arctic personally and that he's an American, instead of making that assumption right? because that would be too ironic.
People from every country probably generalize. I haven't met them all or visited every country so that's just a guess. Just assume they are no different than the mix of people in your own country who may or may not spend time generalizing about those to the north of them or south of them or those down the road etc.
I have never heard anyone bashing people from the USA on my server nor in DF. In fact I've not heard anyone apart from that one person saying he was from the states mention the USA at all. We talk about how annoying gil sellers are, or people request raises or ask/answer questions or advertise guilds. Normal stuff not bashing.
"Oh your American" is an observation not bashing. Maybe you are over thinking this? You seem like a nice enough person so don't let it worry you over much.![]()

It's the same kind of abuse you'll get on the internet no matter who you are or where you're from, to bash your country is just one excuse for the bottom feeding trolls. It's the kind of bitter person who's got something to complain about everyone and everything, and if you start arguing with them they will suck you into a sh*t-flinging contest in which everyone looses.. we've all been there and had run ins with these kinds of people, healthiest way out is not responding and not taking it personally.
Good and bad people all over the world, simply living in a certain location does not make you prone to being nice or not.
I get what you were saying but you're only half right. In America you're a lot more "free" which often comes with certain people taking advantage of that and forgetting that other parts of the world people are raised differently and have a different way of going about stuff. Some countries you can be killed if you steal even a loaf of bread which will have you much more likely to avoid acting a certain way.
