Clearly, neither of these are true, so I don't understand why people are taking such an extreme viewpoint.
And people would be more than happy to do other things if dungeon, leve and guildhest xp was boosted to the point that it was rewarding to do so. Leveling purely on those 3, however, would take months for a single character. It would be more lucrative to level multiple characters using quests and story quests, thus sleeping the entire multi-class system in the face.
