this problem has happened to me from the start. 1-2 second delay on everything, enemies that do aoe attacks i always get hit even when im out of the area. i cannot pass titan because of this and cant progress on my relic weapon. ive been flammed so many times from players because of this, its not fun at all.

it is indeed a great game, but with no communication and leaving us players in the dark is very bad...

99% sure i will not be subscribing to this game. se should be considering refunds with the lack of communication and support.

Throttling makes this game both frustrating and at times impossible. Titan HM with throttling or 2-10 second delay is impossible. I know I am a better player and can dodge the circles and abilities. I can't beat the server lag monster.

Please slay the lag monster. Its killing the game for me and many other players. Its frustrating and really takes the fun away from the game when you cannot enjoy the PVE encounters because of instability.

Having similar issues.

Log on tonight, some RL friends had hit 50, so we do Ifrit.

First two went great, no problems.

Third one, I note that I'm lagging, and drop to the dreaded 90k.

Log back on a moment later, start doing my thing, and 90k again. And then one more time.

Ok, whatever, take a moment, stretch, get a drink. Come back, grab two of my newly 50 buddies and Q up AK. Wait in Q for a server instance, everything is fine. Teleport to a few places running errands, everything is fine. Hit return to go to RT and everything is fine.

Get into instance and halfway through first pull I 90k out again. Get back in only to 90k out nearly instantly. Happens one more time before I say screw it, leave the instance (so my group can move on hopefully) and call it a night.

This is beyond unacceptable. Everything is updated on my side. AT&T is my ISP, rated at 24 megs, with a steady DL of 21 most of the time. I can play any other game, do any other internet-related task with no problem. I've called AT&T and things are fine on their end, even asking specifically about being throttled. Something has got to be wrong server side.

No subscription from me and 6 more accounts from friends until we have:

fixed this ridiculous lag issue, animation issue
proper EU servers on EU soil

If you expect us to pay you monthly fee, we expect top notch support, servers, communication and smooth gameplay/response of servers

Don`t treat us like cattle that you can milk and do nothing.

Until then, 7 subscription on hold.

While ISP Throttle has been the blame game, there is some evidence of a bit of throttle, yet just about every ISP has been listed.

A thread was created by myself on the Verizon FiOS forums and has been updated as we progress to open communication to the ISP. Verizon has not yet commented on this said issue. Meaning, it cannot be confirmed it is centralized with certain ISPs.

So Verizon's refusal to admit it IS them doing it means it MUST BE SE I take it.

I am with BT in the UK, I had this problem. BT researched it and accepted it was down to them, they changed their "media-stealers-throttle" to recognise FFXIV as a GAME and I've not had ONE DC in the last two+ weeks. I have NO noticeable lag on either Phoenix or Hyperion in any location at all.

THE GAME IS PLAYING JUST FINE.

So clearly, my experience is that IT'S NOT SE'S FAULT and SE are powerless to fix it in the face on intransigent ISPs like Verizon seem to be.

I realise that it's frustrating to suffer AT YOUR ISP's HANDS, I did for the best part of two week, but this tirade against SE is asinine as well as totally futile, because it's clear SE really, REALLY wants to screw-over its paying customers.
