That's not true, re-read all my posts in the thread, and you'll get a clearer picture of what I'm advocating. What I'm advocating is that these classes were designed to tank in different ways. Giving WARs defensive mitigation goes against everything the class is, and would make the classes homogenous, and boring. I'm not against warriors receiving a buff in some way to help get their healing back in line. I have also said I volunteer as OT whenever the other tank is better geared than me (even if they are a war), my ego is not so big that I would refuse being an OT just because I'm the PLD.

That being said, warriors have been screaming "where do the devs say warriors should be this way?" "They'll never say it, they intend for them to do the exact same thing nomatter what!"


Well, they answered, and just because you don't like the answer, we cannot simply say "Yoshi is wrong".

I'm not saying he is infallible, but he has been doing wonders for this game, and maybe, just maybe, he knows what he's talking about.

So maybe, juuuuust maybe, we should listen.

8man dungeons will always require 2 tanks and best option always to have a PLD and a WAR with it.. I cant say that WAR have to be main tank but in any occasions where pld is down, a war will have to take over the tank job till PLD is revive and back in action. This is how i think..
