    That's why from that "meta" point of view, I won't even consider FF's PvP because I can't see it competing with some other games.
    Regardless of what kind of a PvPer you are, I find it highly premature to judge it before it's even released. The signals I'm getting based on Yoshida's stance and his background of MMOs played, is that they are taking their time with it in order to do it right. The purpose of the beta test PvP was purely for them to collect server side data to analyze to determine optimal parameters for things like melee attack ranges, minimizing latency impact, etc. I don't think they would have taken these steps if they didn't care about doing PvP well.

    I can understand being a hardcore PvPer from some other game and looking at this one and ignoring it largely because it doesn't have PvP yet, but I can't understand entirely writing it off before trying it. From that perspective I can understand someone not buying the game on the basis that they don't know what PvP might or might not develop into, but I rather do see a lot of people buying the game for other reasons and discovering the PvP after the fact. And that's how most games' PvP modes get discovered, unless the game was entirely built for PvP without any or with minimal PvE.

    y; I believe you can sleep mobs in open but you can do same inside PvP
    y; when that happens you’ll be sleeping, so these skill can get those negative buffs off instantly
