Ok cool your gear seems fine although it may have just been a terrible dps issue in which they were just blowing up their own targets but I would definitely look at a possibility of it being a rotational issue make sure you're marking your targets for a kill order and tabbing your combos while also outputting AoE threat via weaving flash and circle of scorn.

One glaring thing though which makes me weep for your healers the alpine war jacket you're wearing is a terrible tanking option to use and your AF chest (obtained in the lvl 50 class quest) beats it by miles due to the superior itemisation as well as the armour lead it has over it.

Thanks for the information! I went ahead and re-equiped it. I was just wondering the other day if Defense and M. Defense mad a big difference, I supose it does

Def and M.Def are the most important stats to look at on armor, even more important than VIT and Parry etc. Same thing goes for weapons, if you want more damage you want to shoot for higher weapon damage rather than STR.
