    How do you actually know they have? I've only seen people adding security tokens AFTER the event has happened. Someone else said a similar statement and I asked for examples, but they haven't replied back yet.

    If you're talking about the RSA SecureID issues of over 2 years ago where an unknown amount of their tokens were ghosted, that doesn't really apply here as SE use DigiPass, not RSA (and RSA have since reissued tokens anyway). Not to say the same thing couldn't technically happen to DigiPass, but there's been no such information about any such thing.

    Everyone should get the token app's for android or iOS. Everyone has a smartphone now days. Better safe than sorry. As for the ip check, people like this use proxies most the time so it's harder to tell.

    Actually, there are still people out there that don't own a smartphone. That's why they sell the authenticator. If you're one of those sorry people that's been waiting weeks to get your authenticator, I suggest you use an Android Emulator for your computer and download the SE Token there.

    I appreciate your response but I'm not aware of any RSA or Digipass technology as I'm a PC Texh, but you seem to have some Security Expert knowledge or background for knowing those protocols.

    And I also agree with the above post. The app is free on both Android and Apple iOS. To me, not immediately getting them is like putting up an open house sign on your account. But nevertheless, sometimes people won't learn until after a fire starts. I remember when I saw the banner for the app on the launcher, I downloaded it 1 minute later lol.

    I hope those who have been hacked get their accounts back.

    I am also suprised these hackers have not attempted to spam on the forums. :/ weird behavior.

    Unless they are having a problem with their game most people tend spend the majority of time in the game itself, not on the forums. Also on the forums you also have tons of threads to read, in game you only have a few chat boxes with all channels set to be open unless you specifically adjust them. It's easier to get people's attention / annoy them there.

    My company belongs to the BBB ...its a waste of money and TBH we don't really care what the BB says because they don't have a single bit of effect on our day to day business. Even if a customer filed a complaint we could just as easily ignore the BBB all together if we chose and then what..they give us a bad rating no one sees anyways...because almost none of our customers even check the site before they do business with a company.

    trust me when i say..

    Its a dead horse. Unless a gamer is going to go research the BBB before they buy a game or even check out what a companies rating is filing a complaint with the BB may make you feel good but it literally has zero effect on the company itself. My old company i worked for had a horrible rating with the BBB and he's still in business and still doing horribly.

    ask yourself this..when was the last time you went to the BBB site and looked up a company before purchasing a game..when was the last time you ever saw a game company displaying their BBB rating as a marketing point when promoting a game.

    I am completely blown away at how utterly useless SE customer service is. And what makes it even better is the fact that there is NO repercussions that they face. Losing a "few" subs won't be a huge deal in the long run to them. Because until Wildstar, ESO and/or Everquest Next comes out, there's no games worth mentioning unless you want to go back to WoW or Rift...again. There has to be some way to make SE realize that how they're doing things is inexcusable, but as it sits...I don't think there is.

    I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but for grins. How many people have actually gotten their account back after being suspended/terminated/hacked??
